Just in some news, the main cast (apart from Walsh), were spotted flying out to South Africa. Almost certainly location filming, and could be a Graham-less episode (or due to other commitments he's travelling later).

It also appears that Chibnall has hinted that there may be re-appearances from classic aliens next Series, which would fit in with his often misinterpreted statements when he said there would be none in the first series but people assumed he meant no old aliens ever.

I pretty much expected we'd be getting classic aliens in the next season anyway. Season 11 was to hook new viewers, season 12 will immerse them in the Doctor Who universe.

It's definitely time to see the Menopetra and Zarbi again, and the Voord, perhaps the Sensorites, some Moroks and Xerons, Drahvins, Rills (and Chumblies). and we absolutely need to see more Monoids.

Actually thinking about recurring classic Who elements. Curse of Peledon was about the UK's entry into the common market and Monster of Peledon was about the mining strikes. Isn't it about time we revisited Peledon to see their Brexit?

Kidding aside, I wonder if that will be an episode that tackles the "Mandella effect" and not just Nelson Mandella, you know alternative realities bleeding over to our own? Now that would be some cool sci-fi to explore.
