Featuring a talking dolphin too. Even more relevant as for all its faults, Star Trek 4 did establish dolphins as an alien species ;)

Patrick Stewart starring in a 'Seaquest' revival? Cool!!

I love Seaquest and I remember feeling quite upset when it was just cancelled after two seasons :confused:

In 2472, a crack commando unit under the command of Jean-Luc Picard was sent to prison
by a military court for a crime they didn't commit.
These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade
    to the Federation underground.
Today, still wanted by starfleet they survive as soldiers of fortune.
If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them...
maybe you can hire The Picard-Team!

It should go boldly, of course.

    Oh dear...

Ah, you beat me to it :p
Perhaps we will finally see some dolphins working as Starfleet officers like they had on the Enterprise-D.

Picard should have a full head of hair.

Picard will have an accident, whilest saving some cadetts, leaving him almost dead. Beverly Crusher, leading a super-secret research facility with Doc Zimmerman receives what is left of Picard on Saturns Section 31 Base. Now they try to bring Picard back to life using the Borg Nanites from Seven. The intro will go like this:

    Jean-Luc Picard - A man barely alive
    "Gentlemen, we can rebuild him
    We have the technology
We have the capability to build the world's first Borg-man hybrid
Jean-Luc Picard will be that man
We can make him better than he was before
    Better. Stronger. Faster"

There will be slow-motion shots of Sir Patrick running through the forest. Good for Production: Patrick can run himself and does not need a double, it is being shown slowed down anyway.

I can't believe Q hasn't been brought up in this thread. I'm really hoping to see John de Lancie back as Q. Kind of an extended, deeper version of "Tapestry." Something where we learn that Q was always present in Jean-Luc's life, kind of how Ben Sisko was destined to be Emissary and the Prophets were always with him. Maybe de Lancie's son could come back playing a "younger" version of Q (but not q from Voyager).

Now that I've said all that, I'm not so sure I like the idea that Q has been a part of Jean-Luc's life and that maybe Jean-Luc wasn't in control of his own destiny. However, it was Q who introduced Picard & Co to the Borg...

I don't know, I just love the character of Q and think they could do some thing really cool with him and old Jean-Luc. The Odd Couple. Lethal Weapon. Something like that?

That was one of the dumbest things I've seen in a while (except the edit with Frakes/Riker, which sort of worked).

Which confirms the theory the series is actually a rebooted prequel based on the adventures of his younger-self commanding the USS Stargazer, with a new actor playing young Picard set in a completely new universe.

Patrick Stewart appears in the pilot episode as an old & dying Picard in 2399 who regrets the life choices he made in his younger days - which also leaves the Federation in ruins and on the verge of collapsing. Then Q appears and offers him the choice to relive his past life and undo his mistakes - of which Picard says yes.

One click later he's transformed back to a 28-year old Lt. Commander aboard the Stargazer. Then the entire history of Picard and TNG-verse we all know is gone and rebooted for a new generation....

On November 13, Jean Luc Picard was asked to remove himself from his place of residence.

That request came from his former chief medical officer.

Deep down, he knew she was right, but he also knew that some day, he would return to her.

With nowhere else to go, he arrived at the home of his friend, Worf.

Some time earlier, Worf's wife had thrown him out, requesting that HE never return.

Can two divorced men share an apartment, without driving each other crazy?

The stubbled Stewart is an ailing Professor Charles Xavier from Logan (i.e. X-Men). Not sure where the Frakes clip is from.

Let us hope there is a scene where Old Man Picard is walking by a wall of photos, and in a group shot of the TNG crew wearing season 1 uniforms but with movie era badges, Picard has a full head of hair. Further down the line as an ensign in the movie era uniforms with a turtleneck collar, he will be bald again, and then finally the famous Nemesis photo from his academy days which instead of Tom Hardy will actually be a de-aged Stewart, again with hair.

...and it was always that way!
