Spoilers DC's Legends of Tomorrow - Season 4

Well, it's not the smartest idea to keep your time bureau in ground zero of the near-future dystopia.

If you mean the one from "Star City 2046" in season 1, that was a pocket dimension, not the mainline future. The dystopian future that Zari's from in 2042 is similar, but doesn't seem to be directly linked to it; she lived in Seattle at that point. If anything, Zari's dystopia is implied to be an outgrowth of what's happening nationwide today, the growing bigotry and authoritarianism in the country.

That was a blast.
Highlights:
Ava and Sara, and no this a kinky girl/girl thing, I just think they're a great couple.
The Legends high on unicorn slime.
Holy shit, Biff from Back the Future is Nate's Dad!
Best line:
The unicorn bit off my nipple!

Yeah, I forgot about the stuff with Janis Joplin, Jerry Garcia, and Jimi Hendrix that was pretty good.
LOL, I didn't find until after my other post that the title of the episode was The Virgin Gary.

YES.
I mean... Beebo... fucking BEEBO, threaded through the whole season... and then... A GIANT BEEBO wrestling a demon?! AMAZING. It's like the best of the Silver Age... it's wonderful.

And I appreciate the fact that not every superhero show has to be like every other CW superhero show... What's wrong with variety?
When they did the Blue Heart Cloud explosion during the Beebo fight, I was laughing my ass off. LoT has evolved into a fun show that doesn't take itself seriously, 'winks' full bore at the audience and has a good time doing it. I applaud the CW for allowing it to go in this direction with the show because for me at times, some of the other DC CW shows take themselves a bit to seriously (not often, but it happens) - so yeah, I think the direction of this show as a 180 counter to that is great. YMMV.

I think pairing up Legends with Arrow is interesting, we go from what is probably the darkest, most serious Arrowverse show, to the lightest and funniest.

Exactly. Would I want every superhero show to be this goofy? Probably not. (CLOAK AND DAGGER or BLACK LIGHTNING, for instance, have their own distinctive vibes.) But LEGENDS has definitively carved out its own delightful niche, which is working great for them.

And then the next day we have the generally light-hearted and fanciful The Flash followed by the intense and gritty Black Lightning. I guess they want to vary the tone on both nights, rather than put the two fun shows on one night and the two darker shows on another.

Sadly, in Canada, we don't get the benefit of the network's choices. Instead we get the four shows across three platforms/networks, with delays varying from a couple of days for The Flash to a week for Black Lightning.

Doesn't matter now, but the crossover will be a pain for anyone who wants to watch them "live". Schedule here is Supergirl on Sunday nights, on Showcase (specialty cable channel owned by Global). Arrow and Legends are simulcast with their American schedule, but on a different channel (Space), while The Flash is delayed two days via Netflix and Black Lightning is a week behind, also on Netflix. While it seems some Canadian cable companies include a CW feed from the US, no such feed is available where I live. You have to want to watch all the shows quite a bit to make sure you have proper channel coverage, as none of these channels is part of a basic cable package. Three years ago, a basic package covered all but Black Lightning (wasn't around), as CTV carried Arrow, The Flash and Legends, while Global carried Supergirl. But hey, who wants simple?

CW is available through my cable provider but would wind up costing me extra (it's not a standard channel)) becasue I'd have to upgrade my package and wind up paying for more channels I don't want.

Holy fuck, Brandon Routh just lost years of goodwill I had built up toward him in 3 seconds. I think I retroactively now hate Superman Returns (as opposed to just finding it mediocre). Also, good job reminding me that the show killed one of its only remaining good characters last year. Why not have Snart in there too, to really pour salt on the wound for people who really enjoyed Season 1.

This show is lucky Arrow exists, so that it is only the second most vile pile of shit superhero show CW is making (at least until The Flash takes back second place, or Batwoman comes out and inevitably sucks).

Every time I think your posts can not possibly get anymore idiotic, you pull a stunt like this.......

Just..... Just don't talk anymore, ok? Please? Just don't.
