What We Left Behind - Documentary Update Confirms *Some* HD Remastering

It looks like she is Captain in the "All Good Things" era because the uniform looks like it's from that time. Which we saw once on DS9 as well in "The Visitor." Seems like a good idea but I wonder what that means for Captain Nog. Clearly both could be captains but from a drama point-of-view would it make sense? The adventures of Captain Nog and first officer Ezri aboard a future Enterprise sounds neat though to me.

give you your VERY FIRST GLIMPSE at that SEASON 8 ANIMATION:

Ezri.png

No spoilers, except to say that Captain Ezri is back and certainly in charge of the situation! There's PLENTY MORE in store and we can't wait for you to experience it for yourself in the finished film.

That looks great! I can't wait to see this (and the HD footage), yes it's just a writers' conference but they're telling a story right?

I'm suddenly very excited. Still no worldwide release date yet but being as the premiere is just around the corner, it can't be that far away?

Did Behr say it would be this year, or was that just the premiere?

Well I was never Ezri's biggest fan, and really missed Jadzia and everything but the little bit of animation still made me squee with too much excitement!

I've always been a huge fan of Ezri. I think if she was around for more than one season, people would've grown to love her.

Hell, lots of people hated Bashir at the beginning and that changed over time (and not just because of the genetic engineering). I loved him from the beginning, too.

Hmmm...I'm sensing a theme here...

I loved Ezri even better than Jadzia. Not sure I ever loved the idea of her going down a command path. I mean it's not the worst thing in the world but the stuff I like about her such as being kind of neurotic is something that would have to change once she did this and that is part of the fun of the character. I actually am kind of partial of her going kind of dark like her brother who was a killer. The ole corruption of innocent idea is always fun to see in drama. I like her backstory of being from a rich family with alots of family issues.

Hello everyone

I just say the documentary ‘what we left behind’ at destination Star Trek in the uk.

It was awesome. Well worth the wait.

They managed to craft a story, weaving together the experiences of the cast, crew and fans together with a tantalising writers room construction of what episode one of season eight would look like.

We were asked not to post spoilers online so I will leave it there.

It was emotional!

Well for one you could read the first post in the thread.

Well, I missed the part when you said it was a documentary... Maybe I wouldn't have if it would have been made a little more conspicuous, like beeing in the title of the thread. It's considered good form when people know what it is about before they open a thread.
