Spoilers The Flash - Season 5

As much as I enjoy seeing these guys again, the efforts to come up with an interesting story line are getting feebler and feebler. As of this moment, i'm pretty sure the "crisis" is when the show is canceled. And XS' last line about saving her father has no oomph compared to "Girls, let's get to work. This revolution isn't going to start itself." Which is why I'm glad I chose to catch The Flash on line.

google.eh says it's on Netflix in Canada this season. ;)
It is--for past seasons. Season five will drop next spring or summer. Unlike Black Lightning (where we get it one week after its broadcast in the US).

Oops. Never mind. Just checked again and now the episode is up. Was flummoxed by the fact the Black Lightning "portal" had an announcement up that new episodes were coming starting next week, while The Flash "portal" had no such announcement (and several Canadian media outlets were saying Season Five would only drop next year). My bad.

Ah so it is, and episode 1 there.

Netflix is getting them 2 days after the air in America though, so I'll keep watching them live on TV after this.
How do you plan to do that? No Canadian network is carrying it as far as I've been able to tell, and the CW is not available on cable or satellite--at least not in my neck of the woods.

Oh yeah, the new suit. I still don't care for it much. It looks weird without the chin piece.

It actually suprised me. I thought I was gonna dislike it, but it wasn't half bad I felt.

As for the episode, I totally dug it. Nora seems fun.

I really like Nora, she really seems like Barry and Iris' kid. I need to see her interact with Supergirl now.

Wait, what??
How quickly do you think that it took young Thawne and old Barry to become dread enemies?

Hours, weeks or years?

Abracadabra is also from the same time period, who spoke about the Rogues telling Flash stories to while away their evenings.

See, here it is.
In the future, you and I have been enemies for years.
Oh, there have been others, of course.
There was Thawne, Zoom, DeVoe, but none of them hurt you like Savitar.
He truly broke you.
I have to be honest.
I was always a little bit jealous.
But now, it's like I get to kill her too.
If you'll excuse me, I have my execution to attend.
Where does this leave us? I don't know.

I never took that as Barry living in the 22nd century though. I mean, Thawne is a known timetraveller. Abracadabra just knew of him, since he's a legend and all.

Remember when Abra Cadabra said "You look so young Barry Allen."

They will know each other.

He doesn't specify which years. So it could be 2019, 2022 and half of 2056 :p
Speaking of 2056, that's the year that future Barry sent the message to the Legends that was an important part of the Invasion crossover. That's also seven years after 2049, the year from which the newspaper and (I'm assuming) Nora came from. But if Barry is sending messages from 2056 before Nora messes with the timeline, doesn't that imply that Barry found his own way back without Nora's help?
