Physical Strength of the StarTrek races

I think the argument for Worf being stronger than Humans is solved in that episode where he beats 7 jem'hadar in hand to hand combat. From what we see on screen he is never overpowered when they are locking blades and jockeying for position.

The jem'hadar are genetically engineered super soldiers. So it's clear to me Worf is strong as hell

The problem there is that Sisko and Dax wrestle evenly with Jem'Hadar when locking blades, too, as seen in "To the Death".

Heck, Sisko even punches Jem'Hadar to submission on occasion, suggesting the scalelike skin is more a liability than an asset. (Has Trek ever featured armor that would be tactically helpful? Perhaps the material that saved Lt Burke, for a while anyway, in "Nor the Battle to the Strong".)

This "race of great warriors" or "genetically engineered supersoldiers" thing going on suggests that most of the humanoids in the Trek galaxy are wussies, making even middling performers like Klingons or Jem'Hadar sufficient overkill against them. Humans just happen to be natural supersoldiers by genetic makeup. Perhaps we were engineered by some ancient warlord (a Greek god, say) to the very purpose and then dumped for reasons unknown?

DS9 doesn't show other aliens strength in a positive light unless they are human or Bajoran.

To me Klingons should be strong but they have got their asses handed to them time and time again.
Vulcans seem to be quite strong though based on screen evidence.
I'd rather fight a klingon than a Vulcan.

I'd rather fight a Vulcan. I'd miserably lose anyway, but a Vulcan would just peacefully nerve pinch me unconscious, whereas the Klingon would beat me to a bloody pulp and possibly eat my heart.

James Kirk would disagree. Spock handed his ass to him on multiple occasions.
