Borg in Disco?

The theme of s2 is science and faith apparently. Science - technological augmentation. Faith - the drive for perfection through assimilation.

It can only be the Borg.

I used to think the Borg were cool so I look forward to seeing them again in DSC.

Where did you get the rest of that from? All I've heard is just faith and science.

Saying it is a borg is a giant leap.
It’s an assumption, to be sure.

I’m just excited to see the collective again. I hope they’re going to be reimagined just like the Klingons.

And we can finally see the Borg be hella scary - like the bionic zombies they are. They can now show people being hacked to bits for the sake of the collective. And seeing them over the whole season will be ace.

I'd rather they gave us brand new things to look at and think about; we've seen lots of Borg .
But if done right , who knows. I realize the Klingon redesign is not to everyone's tastes but I enjoyed looking at the new makeup designs.

Also, did the article really equate Section 31 with SHIELD O.o my goodness!

That's Season three where Michael becomes a part of the Q collective and taunts Picard in the Picard mini-series crossover.
I thought S3 was about ruining Kirk by revealing he only became a captain because meeting Michael Burnham was the most inspiring event ever

So what is DSC supposed to be about, again?

Discovery. They discovered the spore drive, the secret to cloaking, and multiversal travel in the first season. In the second season, it looks like they're going to discover what the heck is going on with these red anomalies.

I want more TOS in Discovery. I've had enough of The Next Generation from the successive three installments to last a lifetime.

If they really bring back the Borg, i hope they'll do it without the queen. Please get ridd of that stupid concept and make the Borg a real collective without a leader again.

Can't believe the producers wouldn't have learned anything from the fan reactions to the queen. They should know most people like the Borg as they originally appeared in TNG much more than what they became later on.

Why would they like to forcefeed us again the same stuff that contributed much to the grievances many fans feel against Voyager. I don't see the logic in that.

They should know that many people fall out of love with the Borg because of the queen and the changes to them that happened in Voyager.

The article in my opinion is very conclusive about that shadowy figure being the Borg Queen even though it's to blurry to see what it is extactly and half of the article is about what the make - up team stated a few months earlier. To be honest I feel as though this article will probably turn out to be wrong; I don't expect it to be the Borg even though I like them but I feel as though they don't need to be in Discovery, leave them alone and focus on TOS aliens like the Saurians and Tholians and leave the Borg for another time when there is something interesting for them to do.

Plus I would expect them to mess up the look like the Klingons.

The conclusion that the Shadowy Figure is the Borg Queen seems especially jarring since the Borg Queen never had these... You know, thingies that extend from all over her body like arachnid limbs.

Speaking of jumping to conclusions, it's obviously the Future Guy from Enterprise, as both can be referred to as "Shadowy Figure".
