Yes, both Beltran and Mulgrew have made mistakes. Its unfortunate but, like I said, I'm not an actor fan per say...Jeremy Renner being an exception of course.

Wouldn't it save more time if everyone just got together at once?![]()
Somehow your avatar says it better than I ever could.....
oh go on then!
In "Scorpion," when Chakotay tells Janeway that whatever comes, they'll get through it together, Kathryn puts her hand on his chest and smiles and says, "... I don't know what I'd ever do without you," or words to that effect. To me, that's really what their relationship was striving for, was aiming towards, rather than creating friction, for the sake of dramatic television. I've said this before, though, many times, that it irks the living hell out of me that he carried a torch for her, for so long. After "Resolutions," that should've put that baby to bed, entirely. Robert Beltran's cited "Unforgettable" as his favourite VOYAGER episode and it's easy to understand why. Virginia Madsen is really good in it and it's such a shame that Kellin couldn't have kind of replaced Seska on the show as Chakotay's main girlfriend. Save for the atrocious hairstyle and ears they forced on her and those pointless contacts, she was, by far, the most beautiful woman with whom Chakotay associated himself. I really feel that she's the Crème de la Crème ... and a far better choice than Janeway ...
Agree, though "irk" even is maybe too strong a word for me. She clearly had no interest (either in him, or in letting herself act on any potential feelings she did have), which means Chak should have moved on long before he did. Seven aside, I didn 't really care for any of the "pairings" he had on the series. And the only reason I like Seven is because, well... I like Seven.I've said this before, though, many times, that it irks the living hell out of me that he carried a torch for her, for so long.
Hmm. Not sure how to answer this. You have a thing for Chakotay, then? Or just gents who happen to look rather like Robert Beltran?
Perhaps. That's too bad if she didthat's unprofessional.
nobody is to blame for your actions. If they acted unprofessionally it's on them, not any producer or higher up. You are responsible for your own actions.Perhaps.
But very human.
I've seen and read about much worse things. I've read about rock bands where certain members haven't spoken to each other for years and there have been members who have bad mouthed each other in public. I know about a sports team where the star of the team froze out a newcomer because the newcomer was brought in to replace the star's buddy. It became so bad that the club had to buy back the player they sold to get "peace in the house" (I wish that had happened in Voyager too).
I've also exporeienced workplaces where there have been a lot of badmouthing and backstabbing,in fact I work at such a place now where I of all people) have to be the peacemaker between two colleagues who hate each other so there are a lot of "unprofessional" people out there.
Compared to that, Mulgrew and Ryan were very professional since they at least got the job done. And as for that conflict, those to blame are those in charge who destroyed a good and well functioning team.

He's got new Voyager to watch, lucky person! (Of course Seven and the Doctor are in Endgame and there are TWO JanewaysI noticed. My husband stopped watching in season 7 because he said too many shows about the doctor and 7. He still is unaware of the back stage shenanigans. I want to see his reaction to Endgame. We are at Workforce.
I've posted the line counts before and Janeway is always at the top. The Doc and Seven are 2 and 3 but not by very much at all. Another thing I've done in the past is break down every episode based on which character(s) is/are featured and it also broke down fairly even (except for Harry)I actually don't care for the direction they went with Janeway during season 7; I liked her character much more in 1-6. S7 also has too much of the Doc for me, but I can tolerate a higher concentration of Seven more than most others it seems... overall, her screen time is actually not much greater than the Doc and Paris, for example, if you go by line counts.
