Because Prime universe is the best universeWhy can't we have both? And why is it a problem if we DO have both? If STD is a complete reboot (or let's say slightly off-center reboot) everything fits perfectly.

I didn't write it.
Also, I have to ask "Is it worth it?" Will people like Discovery more if this is solved? I mean, Kelvin Star Trek still gets derided for destroying TOS and the Prime Universe because of time travel shenanigans. Hatred for Discovery will continue until the next property to be hated.
So you allow for there to be more than one if it is the Best.Because Prime universe is the best universe
I don’t have to allow anything. So you allow for there to be more than one if it is the Best.![]()
And STD is one of themI don’t have to allow anything.
Alternate realities have existed since TOS
Best as it was in TOS or best as it is now in DSC?Because Prime universe is the best universe
Best as it was in TOS or best as it is now in DSC?
So the visual reboot made the best better? Or are they both equally the best and the visual reboot was pointless because the prime universe was already the best?Considering they're both in the same universe, both of them.

Ah ok. Sorry I’m being awkward for the sake of debateI'm not talking about the visuals.
But but... "Regeneration" directly ties into FC, and Generations to the classic movies so there's crossover and it's like... which branches connect to what? It's a total clusterfuck. The ENT producers said it was an altered timeline in one interview, then made direct TOS prequels which contradict that. The guys behind the first two Kelvin movies say the timeline split in 2233, the guy behind the third says the dawn of time.Well, I figure all of that stuff happens in the Enterprise Universe, which is completely different from Prime. Does it make it easier to explain?
And I am not touching VOY with a 10 foot pole![]()
Let's merge it with the Enterprise on Discovery thread. They cover a lot of the same ground, and a lot of the same off-topic ground tooThis thread does not have enough pages. You are all slackers!
Here, I'll throw some fuel onto the fire
By Doug Drexler's scale, I mean his MSD, which IIRC is scaled to the TOS set height.
