Or have a bridge literally fall on them!
On a backwater planet, alone except for some guy you just met who had manipulated your midlife crisis to get your help.
Or have a bridge literally fall on them!
Challenge analysis?? I have a different reaction to you. That is my right. Not one of your complaints has had any reasonable basis that stands up to challenge or analysis, so you resort to simple obstinance

IMPOV this image says it all.

Here we have a classic example of a common Trope with these "New" characters. This image is wrong, because why display Rey so prominently with these classic characters? With all in Common, and yet we see Luke way in the background there. Why is that? With all those Characters was not Luke the Star of that scene, should he not be featured prominently? The answer is obvious, but to that in a moment.. Why is Rey the Star of the New Star Wars not racing the First Order characters? Where is the Kylo Ren racer? Why aren't the New Star Wars characters not featured? It's like they know the others are sellers, and here's the common Trope part, they have to feature the new Character with the classic ones so that they can validate their creation. That's kinda Ironic from a Franchise that wants to let the past die, kill it if you have to. Yet all this marketing seems to have been for not, as the Toy sales have severely dropped, and as we know...
Oh so that is finally the truth of the what this forum is about??You also don’t actually have the ‘right’ to post at all. But that’s neither here nor there.

Luke literally strolled onto the field of battle when all hope was lost like a samurai, survived a barrage of laser fire that left a smoking crater the size of a shopping mall, then mind fucked Kylo while giving the Resistance time to escape, and did all of it while using the Force from a planet halfway across the Galaxy. How people don't find that incredibly badass is beyond me.
I thought it was awesome Rey did absolutely everything she did. If only she had baked a cake too.
Amazing, everything you just said is wrong.Badass but the end result of all that show-offery is a tiny remnant of resistance crammed into the Falcon and Rey is still a virtually worthless Mary Sue.
I think you missed the context and the point of what I was saying, I mean why else put a rolling eyes emoji, right? I'm sure it's not sarcasm. I think you just misunderstood.. "Why place the prominent character with the classic ones, when she should be featured with the new characters?" If they are so popular now, why flaunt the original trilogy ones? Why would Rey the best Jedi in the universe and history of Star Wars, why would she need the clout of the Original characters to sell a toy? She should be selling shit like hotcakes with just that blank expression and mouth wide open like she does every scene. That is what I was saying. I would think that was clear, but whatever, there you go.Why display the starring character of the current trilogy so prominently?
Haven't the faintest idea why they would do that...![]()
Am I the only one who was totally satisfied with who her parents turned out to be?
I think we have fundamentally different views on the filmIn the grand scheme of things that's one of the lesser disappointments in The Last Jedi.
I mean, we can go down the list and almost every flaw with the film has a rationalization, but taken as a whole, you have a bunch of questionable decisions that are dependent on a boat-load of rationalizations. That adds up to an incoherent or almost improvisational vibe rather than the more stately (foreshadowing/payoff) vibe of a traditional epic.
The end result was a sad little fade outBadass but the end result of all that show-offery is a tiny remnant of resistance crammed into the Falcon and Rey is still a virtually worthless Mary Sue.
I wonder why it's ok for Luke in ANH to out fly a season WAR Fighter Pilot in Vader who had a stronger connection to the force at the time but the sabre battle in TFA is a step too far. I can't imagine what could possibly be the difference hmm![]()
It's a passing of the torch thing. Rey needed to be placed in TFA with Han so she could replace his skill set. Then she needed to offset Luke in Last Jedi to replace his skill set.I think you missed the context and the point of what I was saying, I mean why else put a rolling eyes emoji, right? I absolutely agree. As a woman I find it disappointing and just touch patronising. I want my female characters to be stand alone and not have their qualities forced. (Forced... get itThere's really no debate that Rey is a Mary Sue in comparison to Luke.
Plenty of people have already countered you and have said what I would have.Saying something is wrong without proving it is worthless.
