I took a little bike trip a couple days ago to a far corner of my town and decided to reward myself by stopping in at comic store I know in that area and taking home a ship. They didn't have many that I don't already have, so I went with Neelix's ship, the Baxial.
It's boxy little thing, certainly not one of the more graceful-looking ships, but, hey, they can't all be. I never realized, it's actually slightly asymmertrical, with a docking hatch on the port side (presumably due to it being docked the first time we actually saw it in "The Chute"). It's mostly die-cast, so it's one of the heavier models too.
We don't really know enough about Talaxian ships to say whether this fits in with their look (and indeed, we don't technically know if the ship was Talaxian-built at all). It looks like something that would seem right at home in a "Star Wars" movie (and apparently, it was recycled at one point to show up as a background ship in "Firefly").
Not exactly a ship I'll get excited about, but very well made.
