That looks ridiculously cheesy. Either Jaime Fox has reached the point in his career where he'll sign on to anything, or someone gave a really good pitch.
Somehow it looks even worse...Wow. Should definitely do as well as the King Arthur flick from last year.
So you're going to buy it? Why not wait till Netflix or at least Redbox?I'll wait till it's in the bargain bucket DVD bin before I see it.
At this rate, it likely would have looked better if they set it in modern day times, and I don't think it's been done that way before.
Set in modern times, it's basically a Green Arrow movie.![]()
Some of the costumes in this movie look straight out of the 21st century. And the movie seems to lack color adjustment, so it looks like it was shot as a final exam for a 3rd rate film school. Honestly the costumes look so similar to modern garb that I figured there was a sci fi twist or something. Alas, no, just low budget costuming.
Yeah that confused me too. The sheriff I thought was wearing a modern business suit (without the tie).
WOW. I had not really noticed the first time I watched the trailer. But I went back and watched the trailer again just now and paid very close attention to the clothes and yeah, you are so right. WTF?!?! It's like they dressed him business casual from Men's Warehouse. It does not look medieval at all IMO.
How the hell did this get greenlit?? How can they expect to make money with this?
Did they fail to pay attention to the last King Arthur movie that had the same hopes and flopped hard?Maybe they are hoping audiences won't care because of all the fast paced action sequences?
