DC launching digital service with Titans and Young Justice

I'm not saying there's anything illegitimate about it, I'm just curious what their reasons are. Saying "There are reasons" doesn't help any if you can't specify what the reasons are.
 
This TV Starfire looks like a 25 cent street hooker whos getting too old for her job.

Major miscast for the Starfire role.
 
Definitely not what I was expecting, but I've seen enough of these not great out of context spy photos to know not to the judge the characters final look based on them. These are two characters who would have to change their normal look to go out in public, so I have a feeling that is probably what is going on here.

Yeah,for example they (various such leaked set photos) sure were wrong WRT - "The Inhumans"... oh, wait!...:eek::whistle:;)
 
Titans is a Berlanti Productions show, and they've demonstrated that they can do a good job with superhero costumes/appearances. And the official photo of the show's Robin looked terrific.

Well, it is their 5th trip to the Well as it were so perhaps he's finally blown one here.

And honestly nether Saturn Girl nor Braniac (in Supergirl) really look or act much like their comic book counterparts. Hell, Mon El doesn't even really have his Legion of Superheroes costume - even though in that continuity, he's been a member for seven years.

Also, can we please stop mistaking candid behind-the-scenes photos from random episodes for the characters' default looks? It's incredibly thoughtless. Here's Anna Diop's response to the absurd overreaction (and, unfortunately, racism) from some quarters of fandom:

For the sake of our incredible fans - I hated that this is the first picture people are seeing. It’s out of context and it’s a misrepresentation of the incredible character I get to play. And also a misrepresentation of the phenomenal production behind it all.

Maybe the production staff should NOT release such photos to the public. It's not our fault the production staff can't control what gets out.
 
I was never a big YJ fan. Characters never felt quite right to me.
I much preferred the green Lantern cartoon. Why isn't that coming to it?

For many reasons, some of which (just off the top of my head): vecause it wasn't as popular as YJ, it looked like crap (even though its story was excellent, to be clear I really liked the GL animated series) and Bruce Timm, who was in charge of it, no longer makes good cartoons, he just churns out the kind of crap an edgy 14 year old thinks is mature.

to be clear, GL:TAS is one of many great DC animated series, and I wish we'd gotten more of it. but, of the two shows that were airing at that time, I'm really happy that we're getting Young Justice back, even if for just one season, and it makes sense that its coming back since its one of the most popular non-DCAU based cartoons.
 
YJ and GL were both great (although I'd give a slight nedge for YJ because of slightly better writing and an art style that was 1000x better). Teen Titans the 2000s cartoon was also really, really good (I'd put it between YJ and GL)
 
JLU needs to come back. That was one of the greatest cartoons ever. I know the comics continued it but we can ignore those.
A new Superman cartoon is needed as well. It’s been decades and 4 Batman shows since we last had one

The production staff didn't release it, it was a spy photo somebody took while they were filming out in public. With the vast majority of people out walking around with smart phones with cameras, I can't really see any way to make absolutely certain nobody sneaks a few quick pictures. And once the pictures are taken they can't really prevent them from being posted, it's not like they're going to be able to monitor the internet activity of every single person who walked by while they were filming.
