DC launching digital service with Titans and Young Justice

Be curious to see if they will have an excuse to keep them human looking for most of the time?

Starfire's makeup would be just gold skin and green contacts, so that's not difficult; the expense would be showing her in flight and in action, and we saw a photo months ago of Anna Diop getting her face scanned for her digital stunt double. (I do wonder if they're going to try to recreate the George Perez "hair stretching back into a smoke trail" visual -- I was never quite clear on what that was supposed to represent physically.)

As for Beast Boy, creating various green digital animals might get a bit expensive, so they might have him change form only occasionally, or rely on certain recurring critters that they can reuse regularly. (Maybe they could borrow the digital models for Gorilla Grodd and Vixen's various ashe animals, and just change the skin and texturing.) Maybe they could use some live animals and paint them or digitally change their color.

Though I suppose they could drop the convention of having all Gar's animal forms be green. On the comics page, that's a useful device to connect his various forms in the readers' minds when the actual transformations take place between panels, but it may not be as necessary in live action.

Hmm. It took the animated series until its fifth season to get around to the Doom Patrol -- this one's doing it in the fourth episode.

And we still haven't seen photos of Starfire, Raven, and Beast Boy.

Nothing official, but someone on the internet did an edit of a behind the scenes photo:

Looks like they got their personalities right :D

^ Hence my zoning.

Thing is, though, that character demonstrated plainly that Bowlby wasn't just a pretty face and a crazy-hot bod. Her comic chops were also on constant display, and her timing and delivery were consistently way above-and-beyond what her "sexy bimbo" role called for. She made a part that could have been nothing but eye kandi (see what I did there?) into a little piece of comedy gold.

It sounds kind of funny, but I've come to think that you actually have to be really smart, and talented to play a good comedic idiot.

And Negative Man (Larry Trainor) will be played by Dwain Murphy, who recently appeared in Star Trek Discovery as a Mirror Universe captain:

If this keeps up, Titans will have more Doom Patrollers in it than actual Titans.
I was thinking that even before this news. This show has permission to use the full Doom Patroll but not all traditional Titans members. Most likely because this is the only current project interested in the DP. While Titans characters originated or are shared with other DC properties already in tv or films, or in separately in development.

There are some Titans characters that are free of movie entanglements. I'd be surprised if Bumblebee didn't show up, for one. She's been given a fairly high profile in recent years thanks to being featured in DC's Super Hero Girls, as well as appearing in the 2003 Teen Titans show and Young Justice. There's also Mal Duncan, and maybe Jericho, assuming Arrow's use of a different version of Joseph Wilson doesn't conflict with that. And some more obscure characters like Red Star, Kole, etc.

Hmm... If The CW can do a Supergirl show while Superman appears in movies, it seems reasonable to expect that Titans could use Wonder Girl or Aqualad despite the Wonder Woman and Aquaman movies.

As has been pointed out several times - by me, mostly - character access, with the exception of the Batman license as it applies to Gotham, is determined on a case-by-case basis. The characters Titans is using/has asked to use most likely are being used because the development team wanted to use them, not because of any restrictions.
