Spoilers Once Upon a Time Season 7

I'm about 20 minutes into tonight's episode, and it reminded me of one thing they did this season that kind of annoyed me. I don't really like the fact that they changed Tiana into another fairy tale princess, I think it would have been more fun if they had stuck to the jazzy 1920's New Orleans setting for her story.

Well, that giant alligator fight was pretty cool. I like spooky swamp stories and this one was pretty good-- lots of atmosphere, and the underwater fight (or assault) with the giant alligator was great. I can't wait to see what history Regina has with the Voodoo guy (is he a Houngan?).

Everything else is still very cryptic, too, but now we know that someone is killing or trying to kill the witches in the coven. Since the blind baker survived, maybe they'll be able to get some information from her. And who supplied the kid with that last-minute revelation that breaking the curse will kill Henry? And why did she suddenly decide to keep that vital piece of information to herself, rather than just tell them?

I'm assuming we still don't know why Lucy remembers things? Or why they can't phone storybrooke for help?

I know they said "don't worry about the timeline", but has anyone got any idea how much time has passed - presumably a good 16 years on earth since the final battle until robin went down the vault and did her magic, but we know the time from Henry leaving (at most 2 years after final battle?) and the time Regina turning up to save him can't have been that long, as Emma would be in her mid-late 30s when Henry left, and I can't see hook and Emma waiting much longer to have a child.

They haven't explained why realm hopping has changed to be an easy step through a stargate rather than magic bean powered have they?

Well, now Lucy knows that Regina is aware, which is helpful, but it still makes no sense to me that Lucy wouldn't just tell Jacinda and Henry what's going on-- she's even got the new page to show them. After her eagerness to get them to believe the truth in all previous episodes, this sudden reticence is out of character. It's the plot driving the character.

On the other hand, Ivy's pass at Henry and visit to Jacinda make sense after her mother sacrificed herself, and is consistent with the show's theme of redemption. I'll be disappointed if it's another trick on her part.

Gothal seems to want to trigger Hook's memories before giving any aid to the investigation for some reason. But how does Samedi fit in? And do the murders connect to the casting of the curse, and the key to breaking it without killing Henry? And who gave Lucy the new page? And are they still hiding in her closet? :rommie:

Because if she does tell them and they don't believe her, they'll proove they're right by kissing.

P.S. Why didn't true loves kiss work when Henry kissed Lucy in hospital (as it did when Emma kissed Henry in season 1)

I've decided to make an effort to get caught up via Hulu and then watch the rest of Season 7 more or less "in real time" (on Mondays, though, instead of Fridays), so I should hopefully be posting in this thread more frequently and consistently starting next Monday.

I like the set up for Lucy & Regina teaming up, that should be fun.
It was nice to see more of Hook's history with Alice. I was a little surprised to see Ahab as another pirate, but he was a pretty cool rival for Hook.
I'm curious to see where they are going to go with Ivy's attempt to redeem herself.

That's a good explanation, but she didn't seem to really think it through that much-- they should have slipped it into the conversation with Regina.

Of course there's still a risk they'll kiss while she's not around, she really needs to talk to Regina.

I wonder if this also ties in to why Gothel wants fat-hook to remember. Perhaps when he remembers, he'll get his poison heart curse back and won't be able to be near Alice. Even without breaking the curse, maybe in Henry really believes who he is, he'll be re-infected with whatever he had before.

On the other hand Lucy is only 8.

Awesome, I've missed them all, I look forward to the Charmings getting to meet their daughter in law and grand duaughter.
It sounds like pretty much all of the major characters from throughout the series will be making some kind of appearance in the finale.

It sounds like pretty much all of the major characters from throughout the series will be making some kind of appearance in the finale.

They need to find a way to get Eon Bailey, Raphael Sbarge, Meghan Ory, and Michael Socha back, and they'll have all of the main cast members whose characters are still alive.

Confirmed
Jennifer Morrison - Emma
Ginnifer Goodwin - Snow
Josh Dallas - Charming
Emilie de Ravin - Belle

DigificWriter's wishlist
Eon Bailey - August/Adult Pinochio
Raphael Sbarge - Dr Hopper (Wedding maestro)
Meghan Ory - Ruby
Michael Socha - Will Scarlett

^ You forgot some people on the "confirmed" list:
- Jared S. Gilmore
- Rebecca Mader

Speaking of Rebecca, the fact that she clearly has a major role in the season makes me wonder why she thought - or was told - that they didn't need her as a Series Regular any longer.

Hmm, if Jared S. Gilmore (Young Henry) is in I wonder if that's a flashback then. Zelena seems to be a recurring character, I wonder if they decided to introduce her after the season launched.

Herbie showed up! (Okay, just a magic escape bug, but still!! :techman:)

I can't wait to see what Rumple does to Facilier...and why didn't Regina go
straight to Rumple anyway?

:)

EDIT: I thought Robin might have been the killer but I guess not...

Alice/Tilly has been one of my favorite new characters, so I liked getting another episode focused on her.
I liked her and Robin (Nobin)'s relationship.
I did not expect Facillier to be after The Dark One dagger, the conflict between him and Rumple should be interesting.
I had been wondering if there was any significance to the troll statue under the street.
Is there any connection between the name Tilly and Alice in Wonderland? Most of the others' cursed name is some how connected to their real identity.
Rogers = Hook, Captain of the Jolly Roger
Weaver =Rumblestilstkin
Jacinda = Cinderella
Kelly = The Wicked Wich of the West, who has green skin and there is a shade of green called Kelly green.
Samdi = The Voodoo witch doctor Dr. Facilier, and Baron Samdi is a Voodoo loa
