Personally I wish more right leaning people posted here just to balance things out![]()
Look at this way some of the posters outside of the USA might lean right, it's just that in US terms they are still on the left.

Refuge is from Australia and would be strongly right wing even on the American scale from what I've observed, and of the non-American posters on this forum I have seen that lean right, most are just as strongly right leaning as the American right wingers are. You're one of the few exceptions to that rule I've seen. It's a nice idea (often repeated by you) to think that there's this cadre of non-American right wingers who just look like moderate Democrats on the American scale (and it may be true on a national scale, though less so in the era of Brexit and the rise —again— of far right wing movements around Europe and elsewhere as well as in the US), but that has not been borne out by anything I have observed here on the forum. The non-Americans usually object to the same things and use the same clichéd complaints as American right wingers do. Just because they might support a long term fixture of your society like the NHS (just as many American right wingers support Medicare) doesn't mean they're any less likely to complain about "SJWs!" or "PC run amok!" or "Mary Sues!" or "snowflakes in their safe spaces" as their American counterparts.Look at this way some of the posters outside of the USA might lean right, it's just that in US terms they are still on the left.

Your socialist uptopia is going to be so beautifulEither way, I'm probably a Leftcom, though I think Socialism will be brought about by Capitalist technological development like Marx did. As soon as advanced automation and singularity occur, Capitalism is finished as a system and it couldn't come sooner with the Climate Crisis.

IMO every problem we're having is something that neither side address: TOO MANY PEOPLEMostly because I see income inequality as sort of being the thing that fuels almost ever other problem in the world
Thank you, Ra’s al Ghul.IMO every problem we're having is something that neither side address: TOO MANY PEOPLE
Overpopulation is an issue that's never even acknowledged on ANY side of the political
spectrum. It's just swept under the increasingly bumpy rug. It's been rumored this
issue is why Pope John Paul I was "assassinated." There is no politically expedient
way to address it without hate from all sides. So it doesn't exist.
And "The Mark of Gideon" comes to Earth.

Well yeah, because they're smart about it and don't go full socialist. All these social programs in Western Europe are built on the back of a capitalist, free market society. Without capitalism these social-ish countries wouldn't be nearly as successful as they are.Funny living in Western Europe which has some socialism, you don't see that.
I think some people when they hear the word socialism they think government attempts to control society. Burdensome taxation and regulation. Treating the educational system like a social indoctranation environment for children.I think some people when they hear the word socialism they hear communism.

Ludditeism and technophobia have no place in the modern world.
Overpopulation isn't going to be a long term problem, according to the UN we won't even reach 12 billion humans. As countries develop and have more access to healthcare and food, birth rates begin to slow and become stable with the death rate. This has already happened in most countries and the rest are is catching up quickly. When it comes to the population, we're going to be fine in about a century.IMO every problem we're having is something that neither side address: TOO MANY PEOPLE
