Georgiou as Captain is a horrible idea. I don't see how the Klingon War can end and be won in just one episode, so it makes more sense to be ended and lost. If it is won, I don't see how it can be without going horribly below the belt. Nor do I like the idea of a reset.

I hope I'm wrong, but I'm not going lie: I'm not exactly heading into this particular episode with super-high expectations.

I want to see how they pull this off. And I want to be wrong.

Hey, Lord Garth, I'm you from an hour later. How are things? You over-thought it!

Just sit back and enjoy the show. Believe me, when I was you, I was worried too. I know what you're thinking. But, take it from me, you're in for a treat. ;)

First of all, the Enterprise looks awesome! Though i’m dreading the fanboy uproar when we see the interior next season.

I really liked this episode too. IMO it was the best portrayal of Qonos we’ve seen in the franchise to date. Felt like a real planet.

It was a bit of an easy way to end the war but much prefer it to a reset button which really was the only other way it could have realistically ended this episode. I’m curious to see what the storyline is for next season and how the Enterprise will figure in it.

As long as it looks slightly like the Cage era version inside, I’ll be happy. I just don’t want the boring interiors of the Shenzhou and Discovery.

So, if Pike gets a new actor for S2, I gotta ask the keepers of Trek trivia:

Will Christopher Pike be the one character in all of Trek history who has been played by the most number of different actors? It will be four.

Well presumably both he and what's-his-face--Micheal's brother, I mean.

*Oops. I forget Kenney was in The Menagerie. (I never watch it.)

The novel indicated that the crew if the Enterprise is wearing the proper TOS uniforms at this time. I wonder if the series will honor that.
Frankly I’m not a fan of these new uniforms. I have a hard time knowing which branch everyone is.
