This was.... I mean.....not the worst trek has to offer but it was a pretty lame way to wrap up the season.

I’m glad they kept the Emperor alive but she’s far too good of a character for STD. They should write novels with her going up against Kirk.

Excellent season finale. Emotional, strong dialogue and acting. Not as action packed as I expected but honestly I think the episode was far better for it. We had tons of action already and this was a very Star Trek ending!

Plus we still have the Emperor in the wind and she couldn't bring herself to kill Michael as well! There is a redemption arc there for them to tackle if they wish.

I'm extremely happy that Michael has her Commander rank back and loved the scene with her, Amanda, and Sarek.

Also that final shot!!!!!

I admit while I’m annoyed they felt the need to alter the Enterprise that the new look looks good. It’s still no refit though.

It needed to fit in with discovery. It was a nice update while still keeping the iconic look

This was surprisingly boring. Lots of faffing about for a finale -- almost felt like filler at time. Even with the all character attention, a lot of the speechifying felt unearned. Truth be told, I didn't feel anything at all until the E showed up. My strongest reaction was how silly it was to let Georgiou go.

Enterprise looked pretty cool, but they seemed more interested in fan service than doing an actual cliffhanger. Definitely a Trek show for existing Trek fans.
