You know in the After Trek bit that showed all the medals that Terran crew can earn, there were two different ones for "Master of Poisons"?
To wit:
Did they ever explain that? Because I have a sneaking suspicion that the one which looks like a globe with a knife in it (between the ones for "Valor" and "50 Kills") is actually the medal for Captain. Can anyone confirm?
Reasons why I think this:
- Every captain in the Empire that we've ever seen (Kirk in TOS; Burnham, Connor and Killy in DSC) has worn that medal.
- There's a medal for First Officer, so why wouldn't there be one for Captain as well?
- There's no logical reason to have two different medals for the same award.
