They could have him come back as V'oq's long-lost little brother, W'oq, a renowned Klingon stir-fry chef.
That would work for me.

well tyler is where i draw the line, if he's not back in season two neither am I. i can't take anymore of this killing and violence for no reason of the show, as a result of the tyler role i really enjoy burnham as a character now. so if he leaves i personally see no reason 2 pay for cbs access .
lets be honest season #1 has been all over the place. hold writers/producers responsible. but i am willing 2 give them some wiggle room via a time line reset or whatever. i just want a cast of characters that i can feel invested in like when i was a kid growing up with TNG all of those guys and gals were my heros , i grew up with them. i suspect that jason/lorca is in high demand and just may not wanna do long term commitment , with so many other options on table, but shazad and some of the others are younger actors and from interviews i've seen with some of them they really wanna come back next season. i thing the producers should find away and make it happenI am really unhappy about it, but I've pretty much come to the logical realization that Lorca, Tyler and Stamets are probably all done after S1. There's really no easy way to bring any of them back for S2.
i hear you, but the tyler/burnham angle has what has kept me going , saru and lorca as well but mainly tyler and burnham. now that it seems that lorca won't be back, i totally expect star fleet 2 save ash tyler if they don't ill just wait it out till another trek show comes out. but that's just me.lets be honest season #1 has been all over the place. hold writers/producers responsible. but i am willing 2 give them some wiggle room via a time line reset or whatever. i just want a cast of characters that i can feel invested in like when i was a kid growing up with TNG all of those guys and gals were my heros , i grew up with them. i suspect that jason/lorca is in high demand and just may not wanna do long term commitment , with so many other options on table, but shazad and some of the others are younger actors and from interviews i've seen with some of them they really wanna come back next season. i thing the producers should find away and make it happen

I would be completely absurd if they would just let a Klingon, who has murdered (or at least participated in doing so) the real Tyler and assumed his identity to just take his place and continue serving in Starfleet.well tyler is where i draw the line, if he's not back in season two neither am I. i can't take anymore of this killing and violence for no reason of the show, as a result of the tyler role i really enjoy burnham as a character now. so if he leaves i personally see no reason 2 pay for cbs access .
i agree, but what got me through that was the comfort that no matter what Data, Worf, riker , and the rest would be around . you can't say that about this show, even in the trek tos reboot films, you knew not matter what was gonna happen during the movie, when it was all said and done everyone was walking out alive or together, for me that is what makes star trek a really special show. i don't watch it 2 get depressed if i wanted that all i gotta do is read the new york times or turn on the tv newsS1 has had many flaws, but it is also comparatively the best, highest quality first 12 episodes of the entire franchise (save TOS)...which is why there's no way in hell I'd give up on it now. TNG and DS9 took almost 2 years to really find their footing. VOY even longer. DSC is off to a much better relative start than those shows. I think that's a major accomplishment, and since I count myself a "fan"...I'm definitely hanging around to see it get better!
you mean just as absurd as letting a first officer that attempted a mutiny too continue serving in spite of being found guilty by court marshal? i mean she physically attacked her captain and mentor. Tyler was a pow and totally a victim in this caseI would be completely absurd if they would just let a Klingon, who has murdered (or at least participated in doing so) the real Tyler and assumed his identity to just take his place and continue serving in Starfleet.
No, way more absurd.you mean just as absurd as letting a first officer that attempted a mutiny too continue serving in spite of being found guilty by court marshal? i mean she physically attacked her captain and mentor. Tyler was a pow and totally a victim in this case
well i got news for you, not sure how to do spoiler alert but actor that plays latif was asked in interview this week if he has any scene with the emperor and he responded that he in fact does, now unless she is gonna go pay him a vist in sick bay or in lock up that suggest he is gonna be getting back in the action, not sure how that can happen without saru giving the green light, so whatever action he sees will most likely be on behalf of star fleet , unless he was talking about mirror voq.No, way more absurd.
Mirror Lorca and Voq-Tyler must go. Neither is a starfleet officer, they're impostors.

It pretty much means exactly that.I wish people would stop assuming that Lorca being from the Mirror Universe automatically means that he's a "one-and-done" character.
don't forget ash tyler was alive last episode and asked for help. i see no reason for him going on suicide missions, but with these writers anything is possible. i hope they don't take that route but it's def a possible dying in order 2 save burnhamHe could volunteer for a suicide-type mission because he realizes he has no future in the Prime Universe.
Damn, damn, damn, damn, damn.Jason Isaacs post this on twitter:
For all those asking if mirror Lorca makes it, if he or prime Lorca will be in season 2 or if this is the end of the mirror universe in #StarTrekDiscovery, why would you trust me? I’ve been lying to you from the beginning!

No, it doesn't. Saying it does is doing the very thing that I think people ought to stop doing.
