It took me a couple of years thinking almost the same, but now I accepted that none of those two are related to Crispin GloverI am so out of the loop that every time I hear that casting I think of Lethal Weapon, and my mind goes huh?

Yep. PU Lorca would be awkward, but not totally crazy. They would need to introduce him soon though, in this mirror arch. He could have been stranded in the MU, and would somehow help the DIS crew to resolve the situation. At this point, it would be easier to have Lorca come back for Season 2 than Tyler. I say this because it has not actually been confirmed that PU Lorca is dead, which gives them an out. On the other hand, it would be mind-shattering stupidity for the Federation to let "Ash" serve - and the real Ash Tyler is much more likely to be dead than PU Lorca (since he was being held by the Klingons, there was absolutely no reason for them to keep him around once he had a double out there, and they possibly harvested some of his organs.

It would be awkward, but not so bad as it would have been with Riker, considering that there has been only ten episodes with Lorca thus far, opposed to several full seasons with Riker. In terms of a character arc, it would be kind of lame to replace Lorca with another Lorca who didn't know anything that happened this season.
On the other hand, apparently TNG seriously considered in the Tom Riker episode having Will Riker die. It would have let them have "greener" Riker try and climb up the ranks, and rekindle his aborted relationship with Troi.
Jason Isaacs can very feasibly continue playing Mirror Lorca in Season 2 and beyond, for the simple reason that no-one in the Prime Universe is going to find out the truth about what happened to the Discovery and her crew, and Mirror Lorca, for all of his morally questionable behavior, has not yet done anything to directly compromise the ship and/or her crew, nor do I expect him to based on what we've seen in the previews for Episode 13.
If you think that they're going to keep a mirror universe impostor as a captain you're out of your mind.^ And they don't have to. Jason Isaacs continuing to play Mirror Lorca is not dependent in any way on where the ship is.
If you think that they're going to keep a mirror universe impostor as a captain you're out of your mind.
It is not irrelevant! He is not a starfleet officer. Burnham can't just let some bloke that happens to look like one starfleet officer to take over a Federation vessel. That would be completely crazy. If he doesn't do anything to compromise the ship or her crew or violate their trust, his being from the Mirror Universe becomes irrelevant and has no bearing on their mission.
So you're suggesting that the Discovery crew would withhold the Starfleet Command the information that Lorca is an impostor? Utterly absurd. Prime Universe Starfleet assigned Gabriel Lorca, an Academy graduated officer with a long career in Starfleet to command USS Discovery. They did not assign some other person who has the same name and happens to look the same. And yes, by lying to SF Burnham would let this charade to continue. But she obviously can't do that.^ She wouldn't be "letting" him do anything; he would simply be continuing to operate in the role Prime Universe Starfleet had already assigned him, with the truth about his extra-universal origin simply not being made known to anyone outside the Discovery's crew.
It is absurd. You're wrong again, just like you were with Tyler.^ It's not absurd; it's dictated by the events of Mirror, Mirror. The details of what happened to the Discovery don't go beyond the Discovery, and said details would include the fact that her registered Captain isn't from the "Prime Universe".
