Four months before the premiere? The thing was supposed to be in the bag by now.
I never thought they'd make that May date.

Anthony Ingruber not only looks like a twentysomething Ford but sounds like him and can act. He could have pulled it off.
Sadly we'll never know.
And we all know that Wolverine films were never the same after that...I predict it shall be the X-Men Origins: Wolverine of Star Wars.
Word is that Spielberg is the one who lobbied for Alden Ehrenreich. Ingruber seems like a much more obvious choice.Anthony Ingruber not only looks like a twentysomething Ford but sounds like him and can act. He could have pulled it off.

Well, if the movie contradicts the Daley and Crispin novels, I'm gonna cross my arms in a huff and not watch unless the trailer is very very good.
That's a good one. That doesn't mean the standard won't be applied. Those books are not canon, they don't need to follow them.
Honestly, I'd rather they hire the actor that can best portray the character than the actor who happens to resemble the last actor to play the role. Looking like Ford is a bonus, not the goal in and of itself. Presumably LF thought the same.
Meh. The actor doesn't look anything close to a young Ford.
And then they had to hire an acting coach
Disney's next major release is Black Panther next month. If there's no trailer for Solo attached to that, I'm officially declaring a Code Red.It's one thing to critique the marketing handling. I don't necessarily worry about it, but since I see constant posts around the Interwebz wondering when the trailer will drop, its clearly on people's minds.
As long as the movie is good, I could care less how much the actor looks like Harrison Ford.Meh. The actor doesn't look anything close to a young Ford.
I'll wait for word of mouth, but this isn't sending me.
