The PSN sale has been pretty good, so I now have Pillars of Eternity downloading. A fantasy RPG where you create your character, choose a class and go adventure is something I've really been wanting, and this one looks a bit better then Divinity or Tides of Numenera (Divinity has less character creation options then PoE and ToN apparently having some noticeable technical issues). I can't wait to try it.

I also got the last fighter pack for Injustice 2. Atom is pretty fun so far, and I can't wait for the TMNT character release (I really want to know how they all play as one character).

After playing Destiny 2 after it came out I switched to Call of Duty: WWII when it was released, but haven't played it much after beating the campaign. IMO, the multiplayer just isn't very engaging compared to the more futuristic Call of Duty games.
I've since picked up where I left off in Assassin's Creed: Rogue.
One of the new Games with Gold on Xbox is Telltale's Back to the Future, so I've also been playing some of that as well.

I just completed Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice... that was definitely different.

I've also been playing Injustice 2.

Snagged Assassins Creed Black Flag as it was free on uplay the other day. Free is good. Oxenfree is also free on GOG.

Played Watch Dogs 2 and what a disappointment. Sorry for the copy/paste but this is what I wrote on another forum.

I got Watch Dogs 2 from the bargain bin where it should have always been. Such a disappointment.

Sure the first game was not that great and hat a main character I wanted to kill half the time. But it felt like it had a more solid story, and it was much darker and moodier then what we got for the 2nd game. I thought the objective of the sequel would have been to take down Blume but alas they survive till the next installment I think.

Also on that the first game gave me the impression Blume was this super shady secret organization, up to world domination. Nope not that.

In the sequel the part of Blume in San Francisco is run by a douchebag hipster with a manbun, the single most stupid hairstyle ever.

I am close to the last mission but I want to get all my collectibles first. But I really would not consider this game for a 2nd playthrough. It's just not that great, at least I think so. I wish they had done more with the internal politics of the game with Blume and data collection and how they try and manipulate people in their day to day lives via monitoring of cameras, social media, and data collection. Yes all this happens in the real world too but in a game world it would have been nice to deal with it and try and stop it, or take down the corporations that do it. It would have been very satisfying to take down Blume for good.

EDIT: I finished the game last night just after writing this and the ending was shall we say less then satisfying, and non interactive. Most of the ending is a bloody cutscene.

That's fine. I was just stating my opinion. In the end, the Uncharted series managed one very good game, then George Lucas's itself really hard. UC4 does kind of hurt UC2 retoractively by showing how much of a whiny ass Nathan Drake really is, but I still count UC2 as a good game.

i've pretty much abandoned UC4 anyway. Pillars of eternity is really fun and is my current game with story that I'm playing, along with other current stuff I'm playing like Overwatch/Injustice 2/Pinball fX3/Stardew valley that I can just pick up and play whenever I want.

Finished Life is Strange: Before the Storm. I preferred the first one though.

Just got Battlefront 2 (the 05 version). I haven't played much of it yet. (also played a bit of the Troopers mod for UT2004)

I really need to finish games before the sales start:lol:

Picked up Bulletstorm (I'd played the demo when it first came out) and have finally got around to getting the full game.

Also picked up Injustice 2 and had a quick go (long enough to get a "Puny God" moment between Grodd with Kara being on the receiving end:( )

Played a lot of Arkham Asylum for the first time the other day. Had a blast with that.

Also getting back into STO in a big way. That game is evergreen as far as I'm concerned. Contemplating a Lifetime Subscription at this point.

Just bought a Saints Row IV package on Steam for less than four quid. Could be a laugh.

    That's pretty cheap

I have never played an anime game and a friend gifted me Galaxy Girls.

I'm actually a little hesitant to open this game.

I thought it was entertaining (though I'm nowhere near finished and as usual for me on these games, sort of start ignoring the missions and just start doing things for the fun of it).

I was looking at perhaps getting Gears of War 4 (Windows version) but it's a pretty hefty download size (Especially when the household is doing a bingewatch of something and I've already been doing a steam sale run) :(

Instead, I've been continuing on with Deadpool.

That's exactly where I'm at. :) Just having fun leaping, gliding, running and shooting my way around the simulation.

Got Mass Effect: Andromeda from my sister for Christmas...

The ME Trilogy is my favourite gaming franchise, so I was looking forward to this game but the mixed reviews and bug infested launch, I decided to wait for patch work and then it dropped off my radar. I've done the opening act and so far I'm disappointed...

    * Virtually all the animations are clunky

    * The frame-rate is choppy

    * Combat and general movement feels worse than ME3

    * Removal of the pause wheel is a big loss IMO

    * The auto cover is annoying as fuck, give me manual crouching/covering FFS.

    * Can't seem to find much of a power wheel either? only a weapon one.

Looks like EA pulled another big downgrade in the graphical department too.

Just bought Mario + Rabbids, not tried it yet. Still plugging away on Mario Odyssey

Been playing Crash Bandicoot trilogy, I might have to admit I was never very good at it, stuck on one of the crumbling bridge levels.

I also started Layers of Fear on Xbox, it's made me jump a few times, has a scary atmosphere too. After finishing Oxenfree I think I'm enjoying the smaller games on Xbox right now.

It's pointless arguing with you, but I don't want to completely ignore what you say. This gets my point across clearly, but doesn't give you ammo for an argument.

Uncharted is a great franchise with flaws ;)

Also UC2 is the best in the series and one of the best games of all time.
