not only is the captain of the Saratoga a black woman, but the captain of the Saratoga was a Vulcan.
Nope, they were both Laas in disguise.
Let's not get too wild here.Michael Burnham?
Burnham.
Heard it here first.
Where exactly is this stillborn theory gaining traction?
If she's on the Naughty List, she'll end up with Kol in her stocking.
I think it would be quite problematic if, of Star Trek's pathetic handful of black female characters, two actually turn out to be the same person so we have one fewer than we even thought we had. The only connection made between the two characters in this 'theory' seems to be that they are black women who at some point were command track.
Much like how people tried to explain the absence of homosexual characters
transporter room. O'brien's job REALLY stinks.. Just like we know there are toilets somewhere. They just aren't shown.
Funny how often those heterosexual couples managed to 'french kiss on the bridge' though. If the only way to prove there are homosexuals on the ship is to show two guys french kissing in the bridge, then sure, there was an absence of homosexuals in Trek. So yeah, you could say there was an absence of homosexual romantic plotlines in Trek, but you can't prove there aren't homosexuals in the crew. Just like we know there are toilets somewhere. They just aren't shown.
Spartacus?
Burnham.
"I'M Spartacus! I mean, Burnham!"
