Michael Burnham appears in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home?

After being the captain of the Saratoga, she got a sex change, changed her name to Cartwright, and became a Admiral.

But they are both in the same movie! You should have went for the joke about them being siblings.:)

So, current theories:
- Voq is Ash Tyler
- Lorca is Garth of Izar
- Michael is the Saratoga Captain
- Voq and/or Ash Tyler is the Albino
- Cornwell is Lethe
- Stamets is mirror-Stamets
- Tilly is, I don't know, maybe that Admiral that died in TMP on the transporter pad.

Anyone I'm missing? Are there any original characters on the show?

Captain Burnham was married to Admiral Cartwright. After Cartwright was disgraced and arrested, their only son renamed himself after his favorite 20th century singer: Sisqo.

Sisqo's son, Joseph, would change the spelling.

Tilly is Carl Marcus. She decides to give up being a captain because she loves science even more. PLus she has a thing for men in uniform and as we all know, Starfleet is a military! She also is into musicans and we know at some point Kirk will travel back to the 1970's and perform "Rocket Man" to somehow preserve the timeline.

But you forgot about their other son who would go on to be a bridge officer of the Enterprise-B. All this time we all thought he might be related to Tuvok but instead he was related to Sisko, instead!

They look alike, because a young Tuvok shared his katra with the young helmsman Sisko.

It's more likely he shared his katra with Burnham/Saratoga captain and her husband Admiral Cartwright. Cartwrigh and Burnham would give birth to Sara, Sisko's mom who would marry a man who looks Cartwright, her dad meaning some deep issues going on, perhaps a hangover from Prophet possession.

We can also asume that Burham/Saratoga will have a fling with the black officer that doesn't get turned into a salt cube when the aliens from the Andromeda galaxy take over the Enterprise, who then has a child that will grow up to be Ben Vereen who marries a woman who looks like his mom, meaning his has some issues as well. No doubt because he was raised by, Not Salt Cube guy, and never knowing his mom but desperate to have a mothers love hooks up with a woman who looks like her.

I mentioned this theory a while back, when Sonequa was cast. It's starting to gain some traction:

Could the Captain of the USS Saratoga be Michael Burnham? This was the first female Captain to appear in Star Trek.

Um, no, just no - unless Burham pocked up a South African accent in the intervening 20 years or so. (Can I have some of what you're smoking as it MUST be some good sh!t ;))

Well to be fair we saw Kahn, change race,Spot change genders and a imortal being like Q start to loose his hair and age so I think someone gaining a new accent isn't such a stretch. :)
