Who plans to unsubscribe after the finale until January? We're already into November and if the show comes back in January, then one would really only be "wasting" the fee in December. Of course, December is a month where every penny counts.

I'm going to. That app is a wasteland, and it's silly to waste money on something I won't watch. Also, it will underscore that they're getting my cash for Trek and not the other stuff I'm uninterested in.

I imagine they'll offer up a free month to keep people onboard. I don't even think I'd take that.

I like to marathon a season (or half in this case) after the first viewing and will do that some time in December. After the full season concludes I'll do a final rewatch and cancel until Disco resumes. Unless by some miracle CBS comes up with something to successfully competes with the hour/week I give to this kind of thing. Which means they are competing with "not watching anything", something that usually wins out.
