Just like in real life, I don't find anything inherently wrong with oral sex, assuming both parties are consenting adults and in agreement. However, just as in real life, I have no desire to watch two other people taking part, so no.
Scene:

A team from the Discovery is undercover as a Klingon merchant ship crew on Kronos on a mission to retrieve a captured comrade and gather intel on Klingon fleet movements. While walking through the densely packed nightlife of Imperial City, they witness a sight in a dimly lit back alley that both confuses and... oddly... titillates them. A giant blue horned alien over 2.5 meters tall is moaning against a wall as an alien prostitute sucks on his kneecap.

As the away team stares in wonder, Capt. Lorca, a stickler for details, yells at the aliens "You're doing it wrong!" The prostitute, a beautiful, ethereal alien woman adorned in feathered hair, says "Not everyone keeps their genitals in the same place, Captain."

Cadet Tilly, taking a moment to process what the mysterious stranger just said, suddenly looks up, laughs, and says "This is so fucking cool!" Sadly, this outburst draws the attention of the local Klingon police, but Lorca, quick on his feet and never wary to throw someone else under the bus if it serves his needs, points out the illegal activities going on in the alley to the police, who promptly arrest the giant and the alien woman and sentence them on the spot to fifty years hard labor in the dilithium mines of Rura Penthe for solicitation.

Cringeworthy Enterprise Butterfly Sexiness.

To say nothing of decon gel, Beverly Crushers ghostjob, etc

any attempt at depicting sexuality in Discovery should immediately be overriden with Holo-Quark in drag.

You mean like this? This is an actual Korean commercial I believe:

1. It's suggestive up until the end - and with current television standards in place... then again, think of all the possibilities for the condom industry!
2. She's hot, thank goodness for Kinsey 4!

Lol... This got a good rhythm!

Yes, including the ones in the knees and other recesses of the alien menagerie of limbs and so forth.

I'd rather not. Its one thing that sex happens, because sex happens, and the door is either closed for those scenes or slightly ajar even, but we don't need to know anything beyond that intimacy happens.

What next? Does Burnham stand up to wipe or stay sat down? We don't actually need to know.

Well now the more we talk about it the more I'm curious as to just how bad it would be.

So I now vote yes.

I can't imagine this question being asked. That's the equivalent of asking a Star Wars fan if they want more Bea Arthur and Life Day in their canon.

Oral sex in Star Trek really would be going where no one has gone before, at least in the show that is!

What the hell is wrong with you people?

I'd say we have, on multiple occasions, demonstrated exceptional aural sensitivity.

No need. They beam it out of you.

So - to the original question: for what? I mean... yes, sex happens, and yes, we're living on the ship with these folks. BUT - they tend to have sex in their private quarters, which suggests that... sex is still private in the future. YAY! If sex is still a private matter, why do we have to be voyeurs on it? I can see very few valid story reasons for depicting any kind of sex beyond just enough to intimate that it is happening, as we saw last week.

There could be some story lines where there was an intense build up and everyone's waiting for the big moment, etc - and then more graphic depictions would likely be welcome - a little more time spent on the intimate moment that had been given it's full emotional build up. And if a depiction of oral sex made sense there, then ok. OR - the funny banter that took place on How to Get Away with Murder between two characters with oral sex as a warm up. Etc. But seriously - the show isn't a soap opera and it isn't about who is sexing whom. So outside of very limited contexts, I don't see any reason for any sex to be "depicted."
