Just read Volume 1. Near the end of issue 3 when Spock gets a neck puncture from the Borg, they colored his blood red. :vulcan: (Unless that's red stuff they're injecting him with that is leaking out of the tubule. Or maybe it's de-oxygenated blood, which in full Humans would be blue.)

Also, on Uhura's "transfer order" page, her last name is misspelled "Uhuru".

That's a misconception, actually. Deoxygenated blood is just darker red; veins only look blue because blue light passes through skin more easily. There's an image comparing the two here; I won't embed it in case anyone here has a thing about blood, but it's basically just a couple of splotches. The left is oxygenated blood, the right is deoxygenated blood.

    Re: Issue 11. :cardie:

The Endeavour has been refitted from Aegis-class into a Constitution-class cruiser? Or is it an artist’s licence, or editing error?

Well having Thalia in this story was fun jaunt. Let's see Kirk and Eurydice get out of this jam next issue.

But ugh, no explanation as usual for how Eurydice and Thalia could have gotten from the Delta Quadrant to the edge of Federation space. Damn this series has no sense of scale, even by Trek standards.

*groan* Shoddy art control as par for the course with Kelvin Timeline comics.

Is it just me, or does Garth in the comic somewhat resemble LFIM?

*Lord Foot In Mouth, AKA Alec Peters, the dude who single-handedly destroyed the whole a Trek fan film ecosystem, but managed to pocket a million and a half dollars in the process...

The saucer still matches the Aegis weirdly enough.

I'm looking forward to seeing some Garth. Should have used him in Into Darkness IMO.

Best not. People would’ve complained that Spock angrily shouts “Giiiiirth!”

See, now that would have made me laugh even harder than that spoofy Khan moment.

Well this was a fun (loose) adaptation of "Whom Gods Destroy"! I didn't think the writers had it in them after the snooze TOS episode adaptation issues of the 2011-2016 ongoing series.

I'm barely even bothered at how MacGuffin-y Thalia was.

    Also...
Sulu and Ben's daughter is named "Demora"!

Nope, the girl (Rihanne Quionn) was uncredited in the film, and Memory Alpha lists her only as "Sulu and Ben's daughter." John Cho has even said that he doesn't think it was Demora, or at least that he didn't remember her being given a name.

The movies can ignore the comics since they are not part of official canon.

Just read book 11 is there a reason why none of the drawn characters look like Pine, Urban and Cho?

Book 12 now why would Garth know how to get into the Enterprise computer, his password should have been deleted when he was killed.

Based of off what I saw in the preview I saw, I think the artist's style just doesn't really translate likenesses real well.

    IDIC 1 has landed!

The Jane Kirk and Fem!Spock return in the Last panel, “To be continued”.

Chekov is back! In the Kelvin timeline, he returned to Yorktown.

Meet Commander Simon Grayson (guess which known character he is). His looks remind me of Xon. Love the continuity with Manifest Destiny.

Another observation: the other Enterprises are still around, so either they didn’t meet Krall yet (implied with Grayson), or there was a different outcome.

I love alternate timelines. Got an entire Myriad Universes folder on my Kindle.
Can anyone think of handy names for the new timelines in IDIC?
The one with Jane Kirk from last year or so was implied to be a “parallel alternate reality”, which would make it a parallel Kelvin timeline now. Maybe that can be the umbrella category for additional timelines we see in IDIC?

So excited! I hope get a Kelvin novel series someday that picks up from the novels.
