Cool! I think the starbase type is E-class, as we see it in Spock: Reflections.
I'm confused. According to a new story posted on StarTrek.com issue #8 of Boldly Go will be the end of the 8 issue miniseries, but I thought this was the new ongoing series. Or are they just switching over to the series of miniseries that some other comics seem to be doing now?
The Volume 2 of the collection currently states Issues 7 to 12 - so it's odd, maybe they just mean the end of the specific arc?
That does seem odd. I think something must be a mistake there, because I can't see them putting all but the last two issue of the first arc in the first collection.
Since IDW has a page up for #9 I guess it's a fuck up by startrek.com
Definitely does sound like it.
IDW has solicited 9 for June and 10 for July; I expect 11 to be included in the August solicitations when they come out this week. Has to be a startrek.com mistake.
Wow, Eurydice is going to return in a redux of "Whom Gods Destroy".
Remember the male admiral from "Parallel Lives"? We finally see a female admiral in the comics now, in the Green Lantern crossover.
I like how the Vulcan ships are the Burj Dubai.
Looking forward to see some of the Enterprise-A in issue 10.
Well now, that was a fun story with the Teenaxi.
I like Kevin now.
Yeah, the Kevin issue really was pretty good. Thumbs up.
So is the Kelvin Timeline now the Kevin Timeline?
So they haven't encountered 14 year old Charlie Evans yet? (2263, 3 years before prime Kirk met 17 year old Charlie)? Despite the Saurian brandy they'd gotten from Thasus before Beyond?
Where does it say th
Thasus was mentioned?
^Yep, in the bar scene with Kirk and McCoy before they reach Yorktown
Spoiler: If they ever do
Despite NuRand being a character in the IDW comics, my money is on him crushing on Uhura instead of Rand, if they ever do a NuCharlie X comic.
I noticed that this month (August) didn't have a Boldly Go issue released and Star Trek Boldly Go #11, won't be released until September 20.
Solicitation blurb for November 2017's Boldly Go #14.
Looks like the gender-swapped universe from the "Parallel Lives" arc is returning.
Yeah, the article was posted about a fortnight ago. TNG's Q & A novel got me into parallel universes because those glimpses of what-might-have-been are tantalising.
When ST: Ongoing's "Parallel Lives" came out, I was disappointed we didn't get to have a proper adventure with the "Janeverse". Did you notice her Enterprise had red bussard collectors?
Really excited about I.D.I.C.
