Looking forward to it - but if we can get a novel that is pure Robinson focused, then they sure as Heck can do a novel that is pure Aventine instead of having to tag them into DS9 and TNG novels.

 

Agreed. Each time we get a new batch of books I keep hoping one of the will be an Aventine solo novel. I think at this point the Aventine crew could carry a novel all by themselves.

 

A pure Robinson novel might be an easier sell, given it is Sisko's ship, and he was the lead of a TV show.

 

Indeed, or a Ds9 novel with ONLY DS9 characters without guest stars from TNG

 

We got four Seeker books and I believe the only canon character in them was Clark Terrell. If he can carry two books, then I'm pretty sure Ezri could carry at least one.

 

Good point. Can't believe I forgot about The Seekers.

I was looking at the cover and I noticed that “Robinson” was on the ship, just below the torpedo tube, just where you can see “Enterprise-D” in TNG-HD.

 

When was the last time we saw Sisko and the Robinson? I know he was in Revelaltion and Dust, but I haven't read any DS9 books after The Fall and I don't remember off hand seeing any references to him being in them.

 

Sisko's mission to the GQ started in Ascendance. Prior to that, his crew encountered the Tzenkethi in Sacraments of Fire.

 

I just started this book last night. The last DS9 books i've read in the post-series are the Avatar duology. So i'm putting this book to the test. That i can just jump in and enjoy this book. I'm just hungry to read a new trek book.

 

This book deals with events from all over the relaunch, mostly from “The Soul Key” on.
