It says that travel and accommodations are covered if you win.Interesting, .. I guess. But there are more direct way to sponsor charities in need. And, while they say they cover travel, travel is more than a plane ticket and of course there is lodging and accommodations to cover.
That aside, I will say this, it is a nice gesture and positive promotional campaign. So, if you feel it's worth it - donate, if not - don't.

I agree with you in your point. There are some charities that I assist with directly (a lot of which are to deal with musical education or musical therapy) and others that I donate in this way when I know of no other way to donate at that point in time.Umm ... no it doesn't. Check the video again. He only states "travel" on a 'futuristic' flying vehicle. Mr. Wilson's description of you being his "guest" means, I would gather you will be going to an event with him (if chosen), not that he'll put you up in a hotel. Besides how long has it been since you flew? It usually is more costly than a simple plane ticket.
However, that is not anywhere close to the issue, or my original point. As I stated originally, if you want to donate (which I saw you did) great. But I maintain, there are more direct and arguably more efficient ways to assist these charities.
Um yeah..but you don't get to see the premiere on the 19th that way, or get perks from the producers.Umm ... no it doesn't. Check the video again. Although I probably have a snowball's chance in hell of winning, that is something I would love to experience!Um yeah..but you don't get to see the premiere on the 19th that way, or get perks from the producers.

Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galactica. That's awesome. I wonder if we can request he discuss the premiere with us afterward, in character as Dwight Schrute. Too much to ask?![]()
