The existence of nationalities in the future does not mean culture has not adapted of changed over the centuries. I would hope some of our more negative cultural practises would be dead in the water in 300 years. E.G The end of child marriages and females being treated less than equals in the Middle East and parts of Asia.
No longer less than equal anywhere else, for that matter (those regions hardly have a monopoly on gender inequality).

We may not practise what we preach in some places but at least legally and culturally certain types of behaviour are no longer acceptable, even if some of those changes are recent.
