Avengers Infinity War (and beyond) anticipation thread

Huh, never heard of them, but they've barely been around. Well after my time. :p

I guess this means, unsurprisingly, that this two-parter is a loose adaptation of Infinity Gauntlet at best.

Seeing the name Black Dwarf made me think of Peter Dinklage until it was shown the character has been renamed and isn't really a dwarf. I'm still guessing Dinklage is playing Pip the Troll.

Damn...if the video was a straight shot instead of shot from a low angle, I'd consider watching it. Instead, I guess I'll wait until the trailer is released properly...in a few months. :(

Hard to tell if it looks good when you can only see about a third of the screen
I think it did though!

Although it does make you think...
At the end of Thor: Ragnarok I'll just be waiting for him to be thrown out into space or something, kinda spoils how (presumably) that film will end.

Did Steve turn into Solid Snake?

Starring Chris Evans as Solid Snake

Now I want a Metal Gear movie with Evans as Solid Snake and Kurt Russel as Big Boss. Its the casting I never knew would work.

On topic, those posters are cool, as was the smuggled comic con footage I managed to find before it got taken down like all the other uploads.

I still don't get why they're not showing that footage. Just about all of the other panels have released their trailers and even the panel discussions themselves. I know someone is going to chime in and say "The privilege of waiting in long lines," etc. But what about all of the people who would love to be there but can't because of travel, money, etc.?

Russo mentioned something about how the footage was aimed at the Con-people but not suited for the main viewers, and that the footage was still a work in progres. Which sounds kinda odd to me really. I mean, some of the SFX in the new Justice League trailer looked like work in progres. Or at least, I hope it's still work in progres.....

Pft, that's silly. If it's good enough for convention goers, then it should be good for the rest of the public.

Unless the CGI was really horrible, I agree. But I doubt it was, otherwise why show it at the Con? I never really got the whole idea of having footage especially for people who went to the Con. I mean, there are millions of fans acros the globe who are as devoted to the MCU as those who attended, but simply can't afford to fly to the US and attend ComicCon. So they don't deserve to get a glimpse of something this awesome, simply because people who are either fortunate enough to live closeby or have more money CAN go? I always felt that was a silly way of thinking.

It's awarding stupid luck or being wealthy.
