I don't think trailer narration is canon. How is Janeway one of the most respected Captain's in "the" Starfleet (in the), when Voyager is her first command.

Honestly, what are people so afraid of? Is it the fear of change? Are they afraid of Star Trek becoming something they think it shouldn't be? Are they afraid that if Star Trek changes and they don't change with it, they'll be left behind? Are they afraid of Star Trek becoming "not theirs anymore"?
It's a hit! The official cbs trailer has 15, 000 likes and 80 dislikes.
Yep. When people start with that dross, I like to drop these gems:God those trailers are awful and the voice over guys were given some downright dodgy and in some cases false lines to read.
The same people who claim JJ Trek is too action based, while ignoring Kirk acting like a TV James Bond in TOS, fighting everything in sight
Even Roddenberry seemed to forget his own work, talking about how humanity aren't violent in the 23rd century but TOS is full of aggressive behaviour from the crew even when it's not necessarily called for.
Toss in a sexy Trek babe for the triple score.Yep. When people start with that dross, I like to drop these gems:

The official YouTube has all the Axanar slobs and the like directed to it, so it can't be taken seriously, however if you count other trailer sources as well the ratio is more like 20,000 to 2,000. I'll do a closer count tomorrow for all of them. The official youtube trailer has 2665 likes, 944 dislikes with 150,000 views.
I just realized that the first shot looks like a bunch of giant fidget spinners.
You mock the cerebral-ness of the show, but when Captain Kirk gives you a purple-nurple and a judo chop to the neck despite all of your godlike powers, you start philosophizing about what it all means deep down to your core.
Try engineering during the first attack for starters. They're all wearing oxygen masks, but they wouldn't be necessary if there were forcefields keeping engineering airtight. How? I can't think of any time in TWOK that an air containment forcefield would have changed anything. If anything, it would explain how so much could get shot up in the engineering section without opening that huge room to space.
It was also used in trailers for Terminator: Genisys and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, iircDid people suddenly forget how trailers work? Just because the trailer features a certain type of song doesn't mean that's how the show's music will be handled.
I happened to think the song meshed particularly well with the events in the trailer. But then I've liked Jetta's take on I'd Love to Change the World since it was used to great effect in Episode 4x01 of Person of Interest.

I know, I just find them corny and wooden...As well as inaccurate![]()
