How? In The Naked Time, it seemed like it had never been done before (and also implied in "Tomorrow is Yesterday"), and Vulcans thought it was "illogical" in ENT. I'm not sure this would be it.

Just rewatched the trailer; I'm pretty sure that is Discovery.I liked the trailer the second time more than the first. I hope this isn't a bang em up action show but it definitely has my attention. Have we still not see the Discovery in action, or did we finally get a glimpse after Lorca said we're finding new ways to fly?

"The time barrier was broken" line comes from The Cage. I always assumed it refers to warp speed. Lorca's line reminded me of that.Time barrier likely doesn't mean "time travel". Maybe a way to limit time dilation at subwarp speeds? But that would also violate what came before...
