You mean to say you never have had your mind or opinion changed when presented with facts or appealed to on the basis of compassion or emotion? You have never engaged in a discussion or series of discussions and come away with a different point of view than before the discussion?
Are you saying it is impossible to win hearts and influence minds?

It is impossible now...because...internet. The only thing the internet facilitates is polarization.

Voyager was made at the wrong time!!!
They had to do it now !! We would have rivers of tears!!

Voyager had a female captain, First Nations first officer, black Vulcan Chief Security officer & female Chief half klingon half latina!!!

doctor was a hologram
...of a white man.

Voyager was definitely the most diverse of the Trek series to date in its main cast, even though they didn't really do anything with that, and we had to put up with the cringeworthy Native American cultural mashup with Chakotay. It's a shame they retreated to white men again for ENT.

Enterprise had a great cast and some really great episodes - IMHO. Vulcan female first officer - not too shabby... loved Jolene Blalock's portrayal of T'Pol.
