Again, I do, and I much prefer JP3 over Lost World. Ugh, what a bore.I mean, no one remembers JP3, and Joe Johnston is more talented than Colin Trevorrow...

Lost World feels less dumb, but also more sluggish.Again, I do, and I much prefer JP3 over Lost World. Ugh, what a bore.
It started out ok, but those characters were annoying. The lead hunter, Roland, was the only one with a really fantastic arc. But, never mind paying attention to him.Lost World feels less dumb, but also more sluggish.
It was a baffling decision to not include Dr. Grant. It started out ok, but those characters were annoying. The lead hunter, Roland, was the only one with a really fantastic arc. But, never mind paying attention to him.
On that we agree. It was a baffling decision to not include Dr. Grant.
Oy.Eh, from my point of view your stance on this issue can only be arrived at through an inaccurate lens.
Ah yes, but Obi-Wan is also a practitioner of point-of-view-fu.Oy.
You are lost.

One of the things I liked about the game Halo: Reach, was that some of the camera movements in the cutscenes were actually motion captured. For example, in one scene the "camera man" steps over a small gap in a cliff side, they actually had someone hold a camera walk over a gap they made in the studio and they captured his movements for the perspective of the in game camera, so it actually felt like someone was a holding a camera and stepping over the gap. It's obviously even worse in CGI battle sequences that happen on a planet. When the "digital camera" does movements you couldn't really do with a real camera you're reminded of the fact that this is just computer-generated.
Haven't seen R1 yet, but the visuals of TFA were quite appealing.
I just find it amusing that your post recycled PT dialogue.Ah yes, but Obi-Wan is also a practitioner of point-of-view-fu.
I never got the issue with that line. It's both true that he wouldn't like sand, and is fitting in the context of him trying to talk to someone he's infatuated with.I just find it amusing that your post recycled PT dialogue.
You may as well have started your OP by saying, "I don't like PT critics. They're course and rough and irritating. And they get everywhere."
All of the Star Wars films had their visual moments, from Naboo, to the TIES in the sun.One of the things I liked about the game Halo: Reach, was that some of the camera movements in the cutscenes were actually motion captured. Ohhh Rogue One visuals are a lot better then TFA. There were points were I could have easily mistaken the Star Destroyers as physical models. Then again, they did scan in parts of the original models for the scenes. They also went out and bought the original model kits they used in the OT to make the kitbash greebles on OT Star Destroyers just make them even more authentic.
Pretty sure the implication is that *neither* of them have been in a romance. So double trouble.Awkward romantic dialogue is expected for someone who has never been in a romance.

At the very least Padme is fairly clueless about how her clothing and ambience choices could be sending mixed signals.

Are we now back to the classic "But what were you wearing?!" question?![]()
Yeah, reading that back that sounds...unfortunately worded.Hmmmm, I'm sure you didn't mean this quite the way it reads.....
As I literally just explained, that wasn't what I meant.I don't see any evidence that Padmé sent mixed signals to Anakin. She was clearly comfortable being alone with him. What happened between them was mutual.
