The Star Wars problem

Not at all. We are shown Palpatine and Anakin's conversation in the begining of the film, after knowing from the end of TPM that Palp would have his eye on Anakin.
The conversation they have at the beginning of the film directly informs many thing that happen going forward, word for word.
I have already explained this.
You've explained it, but it isn't clear in the film. As I said, it moves Anakin from little, wide-eyed, boy-dreamer, to a cynical, rude, arrogant jerk.
I don't care to split hairs. Whether we're shown a tiny little bit in a lackluster way or not shown at all doesn't really make a difference to my judgment.
Bottom line is: It's shit anyway.
Nearly ninja'd. Great point.

Oh wow, the Cameron praising Lucas for visual imagination.

That would prove everything you said about characters, dialogs, romance and so much more... if it had anything to do with it.

Not well enough without explanation by outside material. A film shouldn't need to be explain to me by any one else, from Lucas, to Cameron to my brother to random people on the internet.
They don't need outside material. I have repeatedly demonstrated this.

I am merely dismantling your belief that people who know what they are talking about don't like these films.

Somehow your "demonstrations" didn't convince anybody. Maybe you have to work on them or consider the flaws. I suggest taking your time. ;)
That's not the conclusion I have reached. I think it is more likely that people don't want to be challenged. The PT is more akin to THX 1138 than it is to the OT, and people don't like that. They want "fun".

I giggled out loud.
Calling any of the SW movies "challenging" on an intellectual level might be an even better joke than that bit about the prequel romance not sucking huge donkey balls.

People who want to be challenged by a movie... will find better opportunities for that than a Science Fantasy fairytale. ;)

On the contrary, exotic settings can be better backdrops for a challenging idea than our world.
As Bruce Wayne says- "People need dramatic examples to shake them out of apathy."

No, you really haven't.

However, in the interest of fair play, I will accept a publication in the Journal of Star Wars studies with no less that 10 references, properly cited and 12 pages in length.

Which is why Star Wars uses some generic back drops at time. That's been argued by others on YouTube too :)

I disagree on all counts. I have explained to you what you deny that I have, and I don't see many generic locales in Star Wars. Except maybe TFA where they couldn't bother to film the Resistance base anywhere cooler than some kind of quarry.
