This is such a brilliant episode. So sad, so moving. Such great performances. This episode makes me cry every time I see it, its crazy.
I believe that if grown men were not meant to cry they would not have tear ducts, so cry on.This is such a brilliant episode. So sad, so moving. Such great performances. This episode makes me cry every time I see it, its crazy.
Actually, it's better than "The Inner Light". And no I didn't cry at it. I'm just not a cryer.Same, I wept terribly. It's right up there with TNG Inner Light for tear inducing Trek.
I can't quite agree there, although I do see how anyone could prefer The Vistior. Both definitely made me cry (when it comes to TV/movies, I am a crier, even if not so much in 'real life'). Probably The Inner Light made me cry more. They are similar episodes in a lot of ways but both show Star Trek at its most powerful on a very human level, using high-concept sci fi to explore deep, shattering emotional ideas with the characters.Actually, it's better than "The Inner Light". Agree. Nothing to be ashamed of in being moved to tears by art. Several Trek episodes and two of the films have made me cry.I believe that if grown men were not meant to cry they would not have tear ducts, so cry on.
