So What Are you Reading?: Generations

I finished Star Trek: Section 31: Control by David Mack.
I then read two stories from Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 2016, "The Dreamer and the Dream" (DS9) by Derek Tyler Attico and "The Last Refuge" (VOY) by Roger McCoy.
I'm now reading Star Trek: SCE: Foundations by Dayton Ward & Kevin Dilmore.

Catching up on Una McCormack's Brinkmanship before Enigma Tales comes out. I enjoyed it when it first came out, but as it didn't really have any larger interconnections with what else was going on at the time (Typhon Pact) my memory of what actually happens is a little hazy...

Star Trek Vanguard - What judgements come
(brilliant series, better than TOS - yeah, I said it!)

I'm all up in some VAN glory right now. Just started Open Secrets. It is a solid series with really good plots and character development.

Also got in some Declassified: Hard News, Foundations Book 2 and a couple of Constellations short stories while day drinking in this amazing weather. If the Amity Price storyline doesn't come back to haunt Pennington, then I'm not sure what the point of Hard News was, other than some filler Orion shenanigans. Solid writing, though.

Foundations and the Lovell crew along with Scotty going round 2 with Landru was a solid novella, but I really couldn't get into any of the Constellations stories so far. I guess I am too far down the VAN rabbit hole to focus on anything outside the Taurus Reach right now.

Star Trek Vanguard - Storming heaven
"I was there until the bitter end, mate. The bitter, bloody end"
AKA Chickens come home to roost

Almost done Myriad Universes, Infinity's Prism. Generally excellent. I had originally just picked this one up because I had been reading so many of the "linked" stories recently. I may jump into one of the other collections. Pretty impressed.

I'm still busy with Vulcan's Soul - Epiphany. It's unexpectedly good. Part I and II were slow and I had to force my way through it. Part III ist different. I don't know if there are readers who can confirm my impression.....

The first 2 Vulcan Soul books backstory is complicated but well worth reading. I like how the way third book wraps up series. I also like how the story takes interesting twists and turns you don't expect with certain characters. I also liked how the books tackled ancient Vulcan history. I thought they were interesting books.

Between the three books there wasn't that much of a difference (although Part Two was the weakest IMO), the bigger gap was between the Memory parts (extremely good) and the present parts (Average at best). As I said in my review of Book Three almost nine years ago:

A combination of the “Memory” parts from all three books into one “Vulcan sundering” novel could have been an absolute masterpiece, but as it is the Vulcan’s Soul trilogy is a decent, but partly frustrating group of novels.

FWIW, here are my reviews for all three novels: Exodus, Exiles, Epiphany.

The reviews are great reads, but also I have to say, I really like the CSS you've got for final scores on your reviews. That's a really clever touch.
That's all the site's editor doing.

I just provide him with word files.
