Huh. I didn't realize I could make a crowdfund donation and later back out of it.others........ might back out IF they see the goal being reached or going over.

I suspect a couple people were getting paid much more at Axanar than they could ever get working in a real studio because they appear to lack the skills and experience to do they job at hand.Everyone is working for a fraction of what they could get anywhere else because we love the project.
I'm pretty sure members here can confirm the shill bidding by LFIM
More fan films? They haven't completed one yet!Charles Britto (whoever he is) said:What a fantastic way to help our fellow fan filmmakers! Just think, our support will get more fan films made! It’s a win win for all of us!
The Vulcan Scene? Wasn't that like the only day of shooting?APIGG said:An actual production-used clapper, used on the first day of production of Axanar.
I don't know what that means. It's an incentive amount.
Can you explain that?19 "donors" at $137 apiece. Random amount is not so random, particularly as it is spaced out. It's an incentive amount.

I don't know what that means.
I have now noticed two Clubsof random number donations; one group donating @ $137, the other @ $38. It is both curious to me and amusing. It makes me think of nuBSG's episode 33 where the Cylons come to attack every 33 minutes. Cally says: "Why 33? Why not 34, 35...."
Why, indeed.Why, $137? Why not $138, $139..... Why $38? Why not $39, $40.....
See, that 'does' beg the question doesn't it. Is that what @jespah means when saying these specific donations are meant as incentives? That they are there to incentivize or stimulate others to donate? The $137 donations are odd -
.......
sink their own money into this [I'll replace 'crowdfund' for albatross for the sake of my own post] AND let Indiegogo take their cut rather than contributing directly...
Analyzing the crowd funding campaign so far, Alec is not getting the initial surge he needs to sustain this the drive.
They do.Do they have an actual perk at these price points?
Hey guys, the amounts like $137 include the shipping costs. So for the $125 donation where you get 3 items, a Patch, Coffee Mug and T-shirt shipped to you is: $17 domestic (U.S.) and $20 International, hence the $137 and $150 values you see. The more the items the more that shipping that's why the $50 perk is only $10 ($60) for shipping because it's just 2 items, a patch and mug.
Hope that helps. I know crowdfunding pretty well, obviously.![]()
