19 "donors" at $137 apiece. Random amount is not so random, particularly as it is spaced out. It's an incentive amount.

Almost certainly they are trying to make the project pop onto any indiegogo hot lists by donating a bunch right at the start.
As for the amount, it wouldn't surprise me if somewhere someone has documented a threshold of donation size which might trigger anti-rigging detectors at indiegogo, and they are avoiding that. Not saying they did, just that it wouldn't surprise me.
Do they have an actual perk at these price points?
Analyzing the crowd funding campaign so far, Alec is not getting the initial surge he needs to sustain this the drive. Beyond the 1k clapper donor, no donor is over $200 so far. This tells me his die hard fans are willing to contribute but will draw the line as to how much they will donate. He need to get some of those higher donations if this is to work .
What to watch for:
Don't be surprised if you see couple 5k or even 7.5k pop up. This will be someone that is a part of his staff or a friend putting up a high figure to rally everyone else to donate more. That high donor then may retract that high amount at the end or may leave it in with Alec promising to pay him/her back. This is a crowd funding tactic.
I would rate his marketing on the campaign as pretty good but not good enough to get around the stigmatism over the past year or so. Also he runs the risk of pissing CBS off again by even having the words Star Trek in the campaign. He is marketing on a trademarked name, the guy either has balls to do that or is dumb as a stump. We will see if CBS takes any action or not.

See, that 'does' beg the question doesn't it. Is that what @jespah means when saying these specific donations are meant as incentives? That they are there to incentivize or stimulate others to donate?
For sure, while smart in avoiding the platform fee deductions, making only private donations would not publicly demonstrate support. And public support of the Crowdfund is what is needed. That possibly those odd random number donations that don't look random anymore because of the sheer numbers of them [EDITED IN: TOM FULLY EXPLAINS THE REASON FOR THESE 'ODD DOLLAR AMOUNTS' FURTHER DOWN THE THREAD] are being used to seed the crowdfund and give the 'public' the perception these donators, many of whom are recognizable to both supporters and questioners, are actively supporting the crowdfund with their own money too? As well as giving random donors a less than totally accurate perception at this time that the crowdfund itself is very active. I mean if 33 of the 162 backers 'as of this posting' are the 38 & 137 donators (and they are as of this posting) there to stimulate the crowdfund that's right at 25% of them isn't it. Or just the 137 donors themselves are around 13% of the donors... again, as of this posting. [EDITED IN: I now feel that part to be incorrect, irrelevant and misleading to this thread]
That while these random number donators might well be donating much larger amounts through private donations to avoid loss from fees taken out, they are also publicly donating to the crowdfund in smaller amounts for the public perception of support?
That would be clever wouldn't it. And smart to hide the bulk of their donations by privately donating.
And seed the public crowdfund much like the bartender and musician seeds their tip jar. Because in truth a seeded tip jar stimulates their customers to donate, whereas an empty tip jar does not.

18k$ a month wont get covered long on such a small donation pace.
He emailed his previous million dollar mailing list... that's the main asset he has for money I think. He may send them a goose message to see what more he can get, but if they aren't responding en masse then on to phase 2...
Think he has any former stars under his sleeve to endorse or come on board Axanar, to pump those donors?
Wonder if he will eventually declare "failure by fans" as the reason he has to close up shop and postpone Axanar indefinitely and take a personal buy out of the studio assets that isn't disclosed to the public.

So for the $125 donation where you get 3 items, a Patch, Coffee Mug and T-shirt shipped to you is: $12 domestic (U.S.) and $25 International, hence the $137 and $150 values you see. The more the items the more that shipping that's why the $50 perk is only $10 ($60) for shipping because it's just 2 items, a patch and mug.

I am frankly surprised they are offering 'making of' videos for the various Axanar snippets.
Absolutely the first thing a donor who got stiffed wants to see is you spent some of that money on 'making of' filming of a few scraps, instead of just making the film.
