Well that just gave me the urge to find the intro so I could hear the Quinn Martin guy announce him:

I always thought it would be a kick if somebody did a TOS intro in the QM style.

The lovely miss Kathy Browne popped up with various hats and hairstyles in a season 6 Have Gun Will Travel on H&I this morning...

John Colicos on Night Heat, playing a Hungarian loan shark.

(Fun fact: Susan Hogan, who was a series regular on Night Heat - and who has an important role in this episode - is the wife of Michael Hogan from nuBSG. Their son Gabriel plays her son on Night Heat as well.)

And of course Allan Royal - another Night Heat regular - played the original Captain Braxton in "Future's End".

Wasn't the original cut of "Where No Man Has Gone Before" kind of like that?

I meant with the announcer saying the series title, production company, series stars, guest stars, and title of the episode while they showed pictures of them, all that.

Watching an Adam-12 that just did a bit in which Reed and Malloy answer a call to find John Lormer on a roof...guess he was trying to touch the sky.

Haven't read the whole 86 pages but was happy to see that Jojo Krako landed as a short-order cook on Alice. Probably sending a piece of the action to the Feds in the form of greasy tips.

RIP Vic Tayback, a wonderful character actor.

Honey West, "Slay, Gypsy, Slay" (Feb. 25, 1966)--Guess who turns up in the uncredited role of "Gorilla"? (Looks like he'll be returning in a few episodes as "Bear".)

Sandra Smith was in an episode of Gunsmoke this morning on ITV 4 but I didn't catch the episode title..but after checking on the IMDB it sounds like it was Mr.Sam'll! Apparently she was in three shows and this was the first!

And this morning's Tarzan episode featured Susan Oliver, lost in the jungle!
Also along was John Anderson, later to play Kevin Uxbridge in the TNG episode "The Survivors."

^ Followed immediately by a John Anderson appearance on The Greatest American Hero. One of those actors who didn't do TOS, but easily could have...he was all over TV of that era, Westerns especially.

ETA: The Mission: Impossible that I'm watching right now ("The Train," originally aired March 18, 1967) features a double-Billing of Trek guests: Williams Windom and Schallert.

And now, here's sort of the flip side of it, from Death Valley Days, 1962:
