What are you watching???

Watching my favorite show Supergirl (awesome episode this past Monday, btw)....watching the TV series Logan's Run (courtesy of Netflix)...and I'm in Season 1 of the 80s TV show, Friday the 13th. I'm looking to watch The Americans later.

Narcos...

Season 1 was a fairly enjoyable, steady ride but season 2 has upped the ante considerably.

Watched the first episode of the new version of "The Tick." Er.......they've done an excellent job with Arthur and his backstory, but the new Tick is no Warburton. I'll give it a few more episodes, though. Hubby wants to watch it.

Late to the party but just started "Ripper Street" season 1 on Netflix today. A few episodes in...solid acting and writing so far I think. It's certainly holding my interest. I've been on a big BBC and British television kick lately. Luther, Broadchurch, Marcella, The Fall, etc.

I have very mixed feelings about Colony. It started out pretty interesting but then got stuck in a rut where, despite lots of angst and melodrama, not much actually happens. It finally seems to have kicked back into gear now.

I tried watching American Horror Story (Season 1). The first two episodes were good, but episode three was horrible so I've dropped the show. I don't think I've ever seen a show with such a promising start completely lose itself in lazy plot contrivance and illogical BS so quickly.

My library just tracked down a copy of "Doctor Jekyll and Sister Hyde," an old Hammer horror movie that I have somehow never seen before.

Last night was Walking Dead. I never thought I'd be so emotionally invested in a show about the zombie apocalypse.

Every season has done that in a sense. They start strong with an interesting plot and great character actors, and then they tend to lose themselves toward the end. Season 2 and 3 are a bit more complete, but the last couple were so blah.
