So this is expanded beyond Trek now? Well I picked up the rerelease of the Thrawn Trilogy the other day as they were 7.40 Euro each and I've been planning on rereading them since it was announced Thrawn was going to appear in Rebels.
Just got Greg Cox's "Child of Two Worlds" and "Foul Deeds Will Rise."

My copy arrived from Amazon yesterday! Some great Trek material.
I just picked up at a Thrift Store in Ottawa a couple old Trek books that are also quite scarce. The first is "Star Trek III: The Search For Spock: The Vulcan Treasure" by William Rotsler and published by Wanderer Books in 1984.
The second is "Ghost Walker" by Barbara Hambly. But this isn't the usual paperback edition. It is a Pocket Books Dust-Jacketed Hardcover Edition. It doesn't appear to be a book club edition. Also the artwork doesn't have the white stripes, or the circled 51 on the cover. There's no month copyright date, so the only date it has is 1991. Anyone ever hear of this edition?

I had to do some searching to find out what that was, because I don't think I've ever heard of it. I didn't know Rotsler had done a pair of Choose Your Own Adventure-knockoff books along with his Short Stories volumes and ST II Biographies.

I took advantage of IDW's big Trek digital comics sale and got a whole bunch of them I've been wanting to check out.
- Best of Klingons. I actually already have the DC TOS Vol.1 issues on the DVD, but I've been wanting to read Blood Will Tell for a while now. I read and enjoyed the first issue when it first came out, but never got around to reading more of them.
- Star Trek: Khan: Ruling in Hell. I admit I got this mainly just so I can compare it to Greg Cox's Khan novel, To Reign in Hell.
- Romulans: Schism #1-#3
- Leonard McCoy: Frontier Doctor
- Waypoint #1-#3
My first exposure to the Choose Your Own Adventure books was through my dad...back in the late 70s and early 80s he bought a few trek books that were on the shelf. I believe one of the CYOA books was one of the first I read. (Along with Spock Must Die, sigh).
The Rotsler books were some of the last ones included in Timeliners timeline, as when Voyages of Imagination was published, we had just recently rediscovered these.
My vacation reading purchase came in today, although I may not get to some of these for awhile.....

I liked the way themes from both franchises were blended when I first saw this in my comic shop. Very simple but nice design. Congratulations!
Thanks! I was going for that minimalist impact. Some covers get so busy that at a distance it's just a bunch of colors. I wanted to try out something super-clean!

Very pleased to see an "Enterprise" comic at last! "The Fragile Beauty of Loyalty" is an Archer and Porthos story in Issue #4 of the "Waypoint" anthology comic.
