For me, one of the great things about loving Trek has been the opportunity to buy a whole host of tie-in products over the years. I believe Eaglemoss have committed to doing Discovery models but I'd really love to see someone like Art Asylum come out and say "Yes, we'll be doing Phasers, Tricorders, Communicators" for Discovery too.

What would you love to see and purchase for Discovery?

I'm hoping there will be some tie-ins with it, such as a ship larger than Eaglemoss scale, landing party gear and figures. Maybe also a fast food place doing meals with things in them and trading cards.

I'm hoping someone will take the reigns and do it, and hopefully a company that can get shelf space in actual stores, like Toys R Us, Walmart and Target. A return on what's being put out in the market is limited if it's through online retailers only and people in general aren't seeing it physically on a shelf.

I'm hoping, but given Trek's past with merchandising, I'm not expecting a lot.

Novels (already happening) and a tech manual with pretty pictures of all the ships

A decent game, preferably 4X or RPG.

We're getting novels and comics, that's about the extent of my merchandising wishes.

Yeah, I don't really expect to see much in retail stores outside of books, videos, and some novelty items. Outside of those, Trek has pretty much been consigned to the niche adult collector market.

I'm going to add my desire for novels and comics, and (while I doubt it would happen) an actual technical manual would be amazing.

I prefer adventure game, like the 25th anniversary, judgement rites, and Star Trek TNG Final Unity.

In all honesty, I'll be more surprised if we don't get any of those. Seriously, those things are attached to practically everything these days.

Novels where characters are called by their early draft names and various details don't mesh with the series itself
    Just like in the 90's!

This would be my big pick, I've recently started collecting Funk Pop! figures, and I'd love to get some Trek characters from something other than TNG and the Kelvinverse movies.

    I want ships--not action figures---ships.

I think Eaglemoss confirmed that they're already on board with making every new ship that pops up in Discovery.

I would really like a couple of LEGO sets based on Discovery, or any other Trek franchise. The Kelvin universe has got some Kre-O sets in recent years but nothing compares to LEGO quality, both in design and manufacture.

I'd like it if QMX make a Discovery insignia. I wear my Beyond badge on my suit lapel a lot, and I got a 50th Anniversary badge for my mom for Christmas.

Totally agree with this, Lego is by far the best place to go to for build-em-yourself type fun. The amount of Star Wars stuff I have is ridiculous but the fun that you get from building it is pretty much unrivalled. I'd love to see some proper lego sets.

^Also, although I know it will never happen, a Lego video game. You could unlock TOS characters and levels. Oh the possibilities...
