How many Appleseed movies did they make, and do they all tie together, the only one I have is Appleseed Alpha and I love it.

Alpha is not tied to any previous Appleseed movie. All in all, there've been three theatrical movies, with Ex Machina being a sequel to the 2004 movie simply titles "Appleseed", and one OVA (direct-to-video anime) from 1988. There's also been a 13-episode TV series titled "Appleseed XIII".

Oh..

Over the weekend, a Pandora bracelet for a charm I had bought online from Marina (an Israeli company that makes charm bracelets similar to Trollbeads and Pandora), because the clasp of the bracelet I'd bought with it was virtually impossible for me to maneuver with one hand. Lesson re-learned: some things just need to be tried on.

Today, exciting stuff like food and kitty litter.

The last thing I TRIED to buy was one of my diabetic meds, but the pharmacy told me that the insurance company is stalling by making the doctor verify that I need this drug before they will cover it. Like I might have become UNdiabetic or something after taking it for 4 years. Blue Cross/Blue Shield pulls this every so often. Diabetes is crappy and expensive enough without the insurance company that I pay premiums to all year long trying to weasel out of it. Ok, rant over...for now.

That is horrible. Insurance companies are real fuckers

I decided to be stupid and bought the revolver I've been looking at for the past three years, a Ruger gp100. I've shot one a few times and liked it enough to finally part with the cash. My brother, brother-in-law and I are going to the range this weekend.

Simply, I dug out my old mid 70's Starfleet Technical Manual, got nostalgic, and ordered the following..

as they are gaming miniatures, they are quite small but at least I've got the entire group.. without kit-bashing!

My latest makeunder doll. She was formally a Monster High doll. One of my Facebook friends thinks she is scary.

Picked up a nice blouse and handbag this weekend. I didn't even know Van Heusen carried women's clothes, but they do indeed--very nice stuff too, and affordable, at least at the Outlet Mall.

The Robert Langdon Collection on iTunes

Getting to upgrade my aging copies of the first 2 to HD for £3 extra, worth it.

My dad and I just booked our baseball tour for this summer. We're going to Atlanta, Baltimore & DC. I'm psyched that I get to take a trip with my dad - I think he needs the vacation even more than I do.

Land's End is having a half-off sale (code LOVE50). Since they charge 8 bucks for shipping, I figured it would be a good time to get that top I'd been wanting since Christmas. The shirt was on sale already, so with the half-off discount, I could justify paying for the shipping.

In a few years I'm gonna do this with my boys. They are 8 & 6 right now, but I think them be about 10 & 8 would be perfect to start.
