If this discussion already exists, I have not found it. I tried to use the search function.

I am watching every episode of Star Trek Voyager for the first time. And I am nit picking about every thing about it.

One of those things is Aeroshuttle. Obvious room designed for Aeroshuttle. It is actually a part of Voyager's primary hull! But the Aeroshuttle is gone and no mention of what happened to it.

They should have mentioned it. I read that because of promoting "Star Trek: First Contact" they have decided not to show The Aeroshuttle launching. This is as silly as deleting an entire scene of SpongeBob just because of a lit match. Instead of deleting the scene entirely, just edit the "offending" part of it. In SpongeBob's case, they should have just cut directly to the two explosions instead of directly to The Patty Vault.

If they do not want to give too much attention to The Aeroshuttle then they can just show it IN flight, the inside of it, it landing on a planet. All they had to do was delete the scene involving voyager.

But they didn't do that.

They didn't even mention it.

They didn't even mention: "Lt. Paris. Take the away team on The Aeroshuttle." or "Captain. Tom is stealing The Aeroshuttle." ...

If they can rebuild The Delta Flyer, they can rebuild The Aeroshuttle as well.

There are no canon references to the aeroshuttle. The only hint that one exists or might have existed is if you see the bottom of the saucer section of Voyager. I always assumed it simply wasn't there. Voyager was brand new and they were in a hurry to go find Tuvok so I just assumed they left before it was installed.

The Aeroshuttle never existed outside of artist renderings and the cool cutaway diagram at the back of the bridge.

That cutaway also featured multiple computer cores, contradicted when their one and only computer core was stolen in "Concerning Flight" and two warp cores, contradicted every time Janeway ejected the one and only warp core they depended upon for faster-than-light travel.

The AeroShuttle is still slightly flattened fore-aft; see the Playmates toy for a better plan view. The AeroShuttle was designed essentially as a Runabout with wings, so that we could use the existing Runabout cabin set if we needed to see the shuttle in flight. I hear the gears turning out there; yes, it occurred to me, too, to kitbash one! Note: We had to change the name of the vehicle to AeroShuttle, even though it hasn't been spoken in dialogue yet, since "Aerowing" was used in connection with a "Mighty Ducks" airplane toy.

Or perhaps The Aeroshuttle was stolen and they were not able to recover it!
