I thought it was part of that giant 50th anniversary set that's coming out?Any word yet on the blu-ray release in North America?
Yes it is, September 6th release.I thought it was part of that giant 50th anniversary set that's coming out?
I wouldn't have thought Blu Ray definition and sound track would add much to TAS given the level to the animation and would be happy with the DVD.Any word yet on the blu-ray release in North America?
"The Time Trap" was messed up for the DVDs. Someone felt the need to change the background of the pocket dimension from red to black. I hope they fixed it back for the Blu-rays.Already own the DVD set.

So do I. In fact I already own everything in that set except for some of the bonus stuff.Already own the DVD set.

The plots often have a lot of interesting content and links to episodes of TOS often more so than individual
TOS episodes referred back to another.
You might be right. I've never bought TAS on any medium. I've been watching some episodes on Netflix and have enjoyed them more than I remembered from Saturday mornings in the 70s. So, when the blu-ray set was announced, I thought: why not? But, if it'll only be available as part of the 50th anniversary set, I'll probably go ahead and get the DVD set instead. I have everything else I want, so I won't be getting the 50th set just for TAS.
