Another Ep. 7 set pic shows a female Starbase crewman on a witness stand.
STC's latest announcement continues to assert they are going forward. They are working on completing their planet set as promised. They also included an image of the last page of their planned final episode script which describes the TOS Enterprise residing in drydock...and then fade out.
They obviously intend to see their project through.

With this they sre definitely stepping out from what TOS would most likely have done back in the day. TOS couldn't possibly have known of what lay a decade ahead.
Right. They're only pretending to pretend it's 1969.With this they sre definitely stepping out from what TOS would most likely have done back in the day. TOS couldn't possibly have known of what lay a decade ahead.
No, they don't. Not everything has to be tied neatly together with every i dotted and every t crossed.Yes but as the continuation/conclusion of the five year mission they need to link with the film.

Maybe so. But given their track record, I'm confident that it will be more organic than just a typical exercise in dot-connecting.Thanks.
Although, if I were to imagine an ending or final scene for TOS, this wouldn't be it. For one, this is too obvious and it's more of that connect-the-dot thing that fan productions are obsessed with.
For sure. I'm sure it will be well done.Anyway, that's what they've chosen to do, so let's hope it's good.

I'm simply adhering to their stated intent. You can't even pretend to maintain that illusion if you keep referring to things that would have been beyond the knowledge of those making TOS back in the day.You really want this EXACTLY as if it were 1969/70 I understand that but there has been so much more good Trek (in many people's eyes) since then
